  • Simply one of the greatest pieces of music ever recorded.

  • This is one of the most beautiful soundtracks I have heard in years. I am shocked that it, like that of Solaris by Martinez, was not nominated for an Oscar.

  • @Lynx69100 You and me both. It's genius.

  • I interpret this movie as the afterlives Diane and Camilla experienced as a consequence for their decisions in life, with Mulholland dr as the link between that world and ours.

Camilla took Diane for granted in life so she was taken to a purgatory where she had to depend on "Betty" for everything, and only then could she get to heaven (through the box). Diane's jealous rage drove her to kill Camille and herself so she ended up in a hell of watching Camille be intimate with everyone else.

  • @fletchermoose432 Thats the best interpretation of this movie I've heard so far, probably not correct from the writers point of view, but it certainly clears the air for me

  • @eacortes Yeah, I know for a fact that it's not Lynch's explanation, but I still like to watch it that way

  • @fletchermoose432 What is Lynchs explanation??

  • @Nekhet he doesn't say, he has given us 10 clues to figuring out his explanation. He doesn't want to say what it is so that we play the role of the detectives.

  • If you're capable of experiencing emotion, you can get this movie.

  • Everyone says that Avatar is the most beautiful film ever made, and sure, it's a great-looking film, but it's only good-looking thanks to it's effects. I don't consider that beautifull as much as fascinating.

Mulholland Drive is, in my opinion, a great example of cinematic beauty, and one of the best-looking films ever made.

  • @MrBummelum I appreciate Avatar for the well-done dumb entertainment it is, but honestly, people that claim that there's thought in that movie are kidding others or themselves.

As for Mulholland Drive, I don't appreciate it. How would you describe it, very unstylish for a Lynch movie.

  • @fiveMIRrOrs I look at pretty much every frame of this thing and by far most of them could be a beautiful photography or maybe a painting in some sense. I think it's really stylish.

  • @fiveMIRrOrs I am sorry, but I think Mulholland Dr and Inland Empire are Lynch's best films. Timeless, universal, exploring the mystery of life, death, fame, love, salvation.

  • @fiveMIRrOrs I am sorry, but I think Mulholland Dr and Inland Empire are Lynch's best films. Timeless, universal, exploring the mystery of life, death, fame, love, salvation. I hope he produces another film very soon.

  • @MrBummelum indeed, i hate "new"movies, cause it's all about effects en how much it had cost to procuce it en what kind of shitty dudes play in the crapmovie, the storyline of those films are just soo predictable en/or lame, i don't even bother watching it.. in fact, i've never seen avatar en i never will, just to make a point hahaha.. but seriously, that kinda stuff isn't worth watching for me really, maybe on mushrooms, cause it's got such nice colours, for that it would be an awesome movie...

  • i didn't understand the movie :(

  • @nasim09021975 watch it once again or even more times until you get sense of it

  • Sad song. I sympathize with the two unfortunate women.

  • What a beautiful music. This is a masterpiece.

  • Love it.

  • words can't convey etc....

  • heart-wrenching.
