  • THUMBS UP IF YOU STILL LISTEN TO AND CRANK UP THIS MUSIC WHILE IN 2012.

    MIND BLOWING MELODIES AND VIRTOUSITY

  • I get the impression Jason didn't care what he sounded like, I can't find the least deficiency in his work.

  • @flanzashreddah Same goes for marty. they are both so amazing.

  • the vocals are amazing.....

  • Mega Epic!

  • These two are my heroes! I have yet to find any guitarists I love more than them.

They are the reason I decided to play guitar and every time I hear them play it just blows my mind. Their music is true art.

  • Justin Beiber disliked this twice

  • A classic song for any guitarists. Jason is and always will be a legend.

  • So amazing...

  • Awesome Deen Castronovo!!!

  • Very very good!!!

  • 2:30 - 3:00

  • @themetabolicgore exactly.

  • rip my brain 1994 - 2011

  • There are a few words i could use to describe this song. Perfect, amazing, beautiful, imaculate; none of which sum it up better than one word. Becker.

  • What about Friedman.

  • I simply LOVE this masterpiece! Amazing...

  • I was listening to it on my iPod and had to came to this video to say that it is a beautiful piece and I love it. Go Off!!!

  • The most perfect song in the world!

  • -brain explodes-

  • The whole song is ultimate, but that intro... i mean how the fuck did they compose that type of harmony? some skills there. love when the harmonised distortion comes in too.

  • @ShreddinThrash amen

  • 2 people hate music...

  • beyond epic

  • @Megadeth72

    absolutely......

  • best song i ever heard 2001 - 2011 + beyond

  • @gothicbutterfly3 perfeito!

  • is it a bitch fest or are we here to enjoy music?

  • If u guys would have been able to read the articles at thet ime...Marty had placed enormous influence on his parents for thier musical taste...and that was all the wierd stuff (like Asian LOL)..i got a chance to talk with him after a show...but i was just getting back into guitar after not playing for 5 yrs or so with combo of my 12 beers and him being tired...he told me just play the songs you like if you wanna get better...well what a challenge, the songs i like, and the songs i practice?

  • This really has been my favourite song for about 9 years.

  • Between 2:26 and 3:00 makes me love music, but it also makes me wanna quit. Its sooooo good. This piece of music is so important to me.

  • i feel alot of marty on this song!

  • @macacodorado Actually this was one Jason wrote. Marty just plays one of the solos in it.

  • @Altitudes11

yep, that´s true. It says it in the CD.- "8. IMAGES (BECKER)"

  • @collinsrv but jason's asian influences came from marty and that intro is really squinty-eyed ;)

  • Jason was the only guitarist that makes the guitar cry with emotional sadness

  • @UrbanAssault5150 david gilmour?:)

  • @UrbanAssault5150 you evidently haven't listened to enough guitar players

  • @Bon0 Yes alot ! Iv went to M.I. out in hollywood and iv heard over 100 diffrent players and Jason is the only one how had the most melodic control.

  • Man that ending is so beautiful

  • People i know that Jason Becker was AWESOME, but give credit to Marty Friedman too ;)

  • One of Jason's best compositions; awesome.

  • yayayay:) ahaha like there not my onnnnllly favorites but there are who inspire me the mooooooosttt

  • Horrible.

  • @MoonMoney1 troll.

  • @MrCobra285 No.

  • @MoonMoney1 obvious troll.

  • @MrCobra285 Nope.

  • @MoonMoney1 yep

  • That's the most insane sweeping i've ever heard!

  • @MrCobra285 its sweeps like those bands like rush use now in differnt ways .. his time know one could think of a sweep in that way .. JB for ever

  • @anotherguitarist22 JB was way beyond his time, his music deserves to be heard around the world.

  • @MrCobra285 very much beyond his time and should have been more known than he was

  • @anotherguitarist22 Yeah, he really is the best guitarist / composer ive ever heard, him and friedman.

  • @MrCobra285 have you heard paul gilbert he is another inspiration to me look up paul gilbert B.R.O he does a song in a classical manner on electric or scarified (which is just awesome to listen to)

  • @anotherguitarist22 Yeah i like gilbert alot, he is up there with these two :)

  • at first i thought this would be some country chicken picking shred song

nice... concerto is still my favourite though

  • quite possibly the greatest shred song of all time, its got mad feel.

  • my big Four: Metallica, Cacophony, Slayer, Anthrax.

  • @MasterMetallica010 no big4 is different. this is the big One of cacophony metal :)

  • only cacophony can make this sound in 240p

  • 2:30 !!!!!!!! chupate esa yngwie!!!

  • holy shit im high

this is fucking awesome, musical orgasm

  • I don't see why it is even rellevant bringing up other guitar plays such as yngwie. Its music, not a competition. just chill and listen to the music and (hopefully) enjoy it :D .

  • Quit comparing. Enjoy..Okey, i know . We all wish we could play like that. But it is not that important. To enjoy the music, that is what is important.

  • Quit comparing. Enjoy.

  • Becker come back!

  • This is Becker 100%

  • man, the vies shot up on all these songs, on guitar hero or something?

  • An example of a great composition where the virtuosism is a tool to express some feelings and ideas so that you can make the song better, not only a way to show good techniques. That's the difference between Becker and current Malmsteen. Becker is a genius, no quarrel about that. Listen to Perpetual Burn album. As a matter of fact, to make use of velocity only for showing techniques is a mental confusion. Fortunately J.Becker never had that illness.

  • hola es una buena cancion para relajar no tendras los tributo a jason becker

    is a good song

  • que final mas bueno csm

  • 1:46 WOW WOW WIIOOWWWWW

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing song! fucking great! long live jason and marty!

  • please my God. I give you the jonas borthers and your back to turn us back jason becker

  • @youngcristian hes worth alot more than the faggoty jonas brothers

  • @youngcristian Don't get me wrong, Jason is my idol but I don't think that he would like to see these comments about ''Justice''. He accepted his illness a long time ago and he is still creative, he doesn't need to ''sacrifice'' other musicians, we love him just the he is. God bless you youngcristian.

  • @youngcristian Jason becker is live shit!!

  • hermosa cancion !!

  • is there any way to reverse jason's ALS? Like i will spend millions i dont even own and put myself into a debt that i could never repay just to make jason be able to stand and walk and shred again

  • the intro is IMPOSSIBLE!

  • is that a harp at the end? if not thats a really really cool guitar riff

  • cacophony in greek means jar, discord

  • Just love it. <3

  • one of the best guitar anthems of all time

    this song provides hope

    and that last note.....

thank you eternally for writing this Jason

  • This song further reinforces my belief that if I follow my heart I can accomplish anything

  • in 1:00 my jaw dropped =O

  • Anyone notice that the intro sounds like when u were a Kid?

  • this what we caLL the musiciaN

  • this is by far my favorite cacophony song

jason and marty are such amazing guitarists and together, just incredible

they dont even need a singer, i listen to them for the amazing guitar solos

    thats what its all about

  • this indeed is magic! often, in other songs, chord progressions just don't please me, and i hear other chords that would satisfy my ears more instead of those that are really going on, but this song was spot on - i kept expecting a "wrong" chord or note, but it just never came! i love this song.

  • Best...

  • I hate you God.

I want my Jason's health back...

  • @SpaceDyeDream .we are brothers...and we wil BOTH not trade the Kingdom

  • this is my favorite instrumental song ever!

  • one word: beautiful.

  • Does anybody know wich one played arpegios 2:32-->, Marty or Jason?

  • @mistarrT I'm pretty sure it was Jason, he wrote the song and I don't think marty is that good at sweep arpeggios.

  • @snakekramer Marty could easily play these arpeggios. But this song was written by Jason. He even wrote some lyrics for it but they were kinda laughable so they decided to make it an instrumental (thank God).

  • @metalrules13 I don't know about easily ha ha. Yeah probably a good thing they didn't put the words in the song, I don't think it would really fit Peter Marino's "style" anyways

  • @mistarrT Jason

  • @mistarrT Jason of course :D

  • Deje de escuchar a yngwie cuando descubri a Jason.

  • @stratovariusx100pre Guay! Jason rocas y también lo hace aunque yngwie

  • ,.jason is the law,.

  • Comment removed

  • this is beautiful beyond words.

  • I'm glad at least Jason had a chance to made many music before he suffered ALS at only 21

  • wow! holy shit! this amazing!

  • This has been my favourite song since 2003. Love it, Still can't play the part at the end tho. Too much

  • the sweepicking bit? i find that bit really hard ^^

  • @Studas2006 Prob 'cos its not a guitar lol, its a harp : >

  • It's a synthesizer with a harp effect. Is that what you meant?

    Peace, and love.

  • These guys achieved the perfection, they´re a truly inspiration!!

  • 2 greatest duo ever marty and jason if jason was healty in these days aahw :( then he would create some symphony for guitar or something

  • just before the ending, before the -very- emotional clean solo with harp backing, there's 20 seconds of EPIC sweep-picked arpeggios . these guys are fantastic, from another world

  • Haven't heard this in ages. I am new to youtube. One of the biggest treats yet!

  • this song is just beatiful !!

    godbless jason

  • i finally learned to sweeps lol i played it at at party on my friends guitar which is a jason soloist very nice then i looked up and everyone stop what they where doing and it was silent they someone just yells how the fuck! lol thank u JAson-

  • what IS that guitar?? i have to know!...i was for the longest time loving Jason's sound for the bridge setup...only my Ibanez with 8's does that!

  • Carvin dc-400 or 200 not sure but this one he has in the photo i think u can buy but the blue one is a custom dc with custom neck and headstock Carvin made just f Jason

  • he used carvin alot and he used a peavey too

  • Get the album dude. Support your bands.

  • But it. What the fuck dude..

  • this song beats all yngwies songs

  • Comment removed

  • @thegoddescomposer isn't true, yngwie and cacophony songs are different, but one isnt better than aother one

  • @thegoddescomposer -hahhahah-alomst!!!

certainly has more passion that most of stingray marmalade's bachesque ventures

  • @thegoddescomposer, you've just said all that an intelligent musician would say. Thanks for saying that for us all.

  • @thegoddescomposer It is a great piece, no doubt. However, comparing this with Yngwie is an apples and oranges comparison. Here you have Asian influenced melodies and lots of harmonized sweeps. Yngwie's music is rooted in classical and 1970s proto-metal. Both are very inspiring. It's not a competition, it is art.

  • @browsfan Sorry mate but yngwie couldn't write something like this even in his dreams, he knows only how to rip off bach lol.

  • @1banez

  • @browsfan lol and yngwie got fat.

  • @browsfan Mate, I couldn't had said this better.

  • @thegoddescomposer I don't know why people have to compare it to Yngwie, what about all other guitarists? There are some Yngwie songs I love and I agree Cacophony is very unique and creative music and more creative in that respect but why dwell on a negative and instead just appreciate this great music.

  • I wish every cocophany song was like this. No vocals, just the joy of hearing 2 of the best guitar players that ever lived create magic

  • @1madaboutguitar

If Cacophony was an instrumental band, it would be the best band ever.

  • Ha Ha, yer I dont think many will disagree with you there.

  • agree, the singing is kinda shit!

  • @1madaboutguitar

Writing instrumental songs is much harder than writing songs with vocals so I think it's realy good, that this song is just some alternative. Quality over quantity my friend :)

  • @1madaboutguitar Me too, like the Black Cat outro

  • The outro needs to be infinitely long!

  • AMAZING!!!

  • the best...

  • i love the foreign sounding licks

  • i saw someone request this on a guys profile and i dont treally like songs with no lyrics but hey the guitar was amazing

  • They were making this music in the 80's so just take my word for it that it was for the best.

  • the best.

  • excellentー^^

  • ええでー^^

  • what does it mean? I've took the german - japanisch translator and it give only "...." out

  • awesome!!!!

  • This is badass, I remember jamming to this with one of my mexican friends growing up.

    5 stars mo phos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If some one can tell me what sweeps are used at 2:32, then I will be sooooo happy!

  • it's a F# o7/b13 LOL.

  • guitar pro holmes its on there but its hard as fuck to play

  • ...hard but GREAT fun!

couple more weeks and i will hopefully post me playing this...love this song

  • yes it is. i'm practising it 3 weeks now. my version is on my channel. check it out. ( that was filmed 2weeks ago, so i'm almost there)

  • Yea I keep looking into that stuff but I can't seem to find the right program to use them on.

  • It is so weird when you listen to an instrumental then a song with singing in it. The vocals aren't bad in a few songs but it is just because jason and marty make them so great they overshadow the mediocre singing.

  • breathtaking.

  • @ 1:37 so friggin epic!
