I was just at an IMP conference in Seattle with other primary care providers. We all agree with Gordon -- we want to care for patients with high tech/low overhead options that allow us to spend time with patients. Keep primary care in mind with all the new policies being advocated in Washington -- we are on the front line helping patients!
Thank you for speaking the truth about the need for real change in primary care. Tweaking the current system and simply increasing the number of people who have health care insurance does not accomplish the goal of increasing access to organized & coordinated care.
