omark may have done it first but it was an exhibition game. to actually do it in a real game against a future stanley cup goalie takes balls. He made niemi look silly like he does to almost all the goalies he has a shootout on

@metrangerfan711 yeah ur right. he tried to do his usual move where he fakes a shot left then drags it right. Goalie didnt bite so i guess he had to improvise.

Thats what I thought at first, but if he was trying... he screwed it up more than just the goalie not biting. In his signature move, he comes in from the right, then changes direction. In this case, he went from right to left the entire way.

when he tries to do his signature move he actually skates in a little different and dekes further out before the fake. He was actually trying to pulled off what he wanted to. He got this move from Linus Omark.

Yeah, Omark's goal was faster and it clipped the crossbar going into the net, but I think this is better simply because it was pulled off against an NHL goalie. Either way, I think Datsyuk has the best hands in all of hockey. They are both very nice goals!!!

This was one heck of a hockey game. Both teams were great. I saw some skill from The Red Wings that I haven't seen in a long time. This game had playoff atmosphere written all over it.
