I'm not a hater. But she forces her voice and manipulates in ways that aren't natural for her and so it makes me feel uncomfortable when watching her performance. Compare that with Alicia Keys (i know it's not "fair" to compare)... Alicia does all that crazy vocal stuff too..but you feel at ease when she does it b/c it comes out of her naturally.
A lot of people can imitate what alicia does, but only a few people can actually do it..just my honest opinions.
She still has the most people following and supporting her. Hell most people dont know the names of most of the guys /girls on the show. She is going to suprise all the trolls and haters out there.

@TheComputerH nah I think it hsa a lot to do with how you are raised. I've seen many gyopos in Canada who have perfect English accents and their Korean was improved by going to an all Korean church. Probably because Canada has way more new Korean immigrants coming in and there are more temporary-stayers than permanent immigrants

Have to admit, this was the best performance out of all the times she sang. But in the next rounds she was singing as a duet/group and she had to dance at the same time, so it was difficult for her. I'm really hoping that whether she got eliminated or not in ep 11, she did a solo and proved herself again. Because despite the huge downhills in the show, she still has so much potential.

Also, you are right singing in a duet/group while dancing is harder than singing solo. But the dancing does not appear to be problem anymore after her spectacular performance Sunday. :-)

My sister is friends with Kim Nayoon. I met her. Shes polite.. VERY polite, smart, and sweet.
She's not "fake" like others. I've heard her sing and she's ALOT BETTER most people. Stop hating okay? she made a mistake, are you guys perfect? no.

Don't get what the judges see in her. To me, her vocal techniques and abilities are sub-par, even here. Nowhere near the caliber of most contestants at this stage. And some of you will tell me I'm jealous, it's none of my business, I don't know what I'm saying, or whatever. But that's the nature of these shows--it sucks to see your favorites go before contestants that seem weaker.
Ahhh man, I wish she could go back to the way she is here. She has so much potential, but she's just gone downhill after this audition. She needs to find a song that suits her, and that she's comfortable with, or she'll be eliminated soon.

Nayoon has potential to be a great singer. First, you need to compare her to others her age and not famous recording artists. Now, those people who go onto this site and criticize her only prove the point that that a lot of people are interested in her. That is what potential star power is. Lots of people hate Britney Spears but millions still buy her CDs.
After watching Kpop star a lot of people are 'hating' on Nayoon because she's apparently not very talented compared to the other contestants. Eventually YG and SM are no longer interested in her, but since JYP still can't get over this first audition performance, he's the one constantly giving her second chances. People think her looks are the only thing keeping her in, but I'm really looking forward to watching ep 10 of kpop star.. I'm really hoping she proved herself to these doubters!
I can say that Dara was crying on audition, because they didn`t pass her... But it`s different from Na Yoon. Dara is innocent, but can`t sing.. Na Yoon is fake, but she has got really interesting voice. XD Don`t thing that I don`t like Sandara.

From the way JYP gave advice to the contestants, he loves it when singers give in an extra feeling and energy into their songs. She's not super amazing, but he probably sees the potential in Nayoon. She's not a flat singer and she's better off with the piano and slower songs compared to her recent performances.

But in kpop industry her past and mistakes are everything. every single bit counts . thats why the judges pick carefully out of thousands of people that auditions.. and that girl, even boa said that she doesnt sing as well as expected and cries to get them to feel sympathy for her? her past might stir controversy and cause difficulties to her later on career.

My sister is friends with Kim Nayoon. I met her. Shes polite.. VERY polite, smart, and sweet.

Don't get what the judges see in her. To me, her vocal techniques and abilities are sub-par, even here. Nowhere near the caliber of most contestants at this stage. And some of you will tell me I'm jealous, it's none of my business, I don't know what I'm saying, or whatever. But that's the nature of these shows--it sucks to see your favorites go before contestants that seem weaker.

Nayoon has potential to be a great singer. First, you need to compare her to others her age and not famous recording artists. Now, those people who go onto this site and criticize her only prove the point that that a lot of people are interested in her. That is what potential star power is. After watching Kpop star a lot of people are 'hating' on Nayoon because she's apparently not very talented compared to the other contestants. Eventually YG and SM are no longer interested in her, but since JYP still can't get over this first audition performance, he's the one constantly giving her second chances. People think her looks are the only thing keeping her in, but I'm really looking forward to watching ep 10 of kpop star.. I'm really hoping she proved herself to these doubters!

I can say that Dara was crying on audition, because they didn`t pass her... But it`s different from Na Yoon. Dara is innocent, but can`t sing.. Na Yoon is fake, but she has got really interesting voice. XD Don`t thing that I don`t like Sandara.

@PILIPINAS7107 Really? There are Dara fans here...Dara was crying because she was happy that she passed the audition. Her familly was also poor back then, she had lots of sad memories..Kim na yoon? When she was crying, it wasn't even a big deal. She was crying and then she went to a adult club when she was only 16 and caught kissing with a boy. I think Na Yoon has more of a acting voice and feature(?) instead of singing, you don't need to compare her with Dara

I think it really isnt fair to judge this girl simply because she cried during the audition.Yes she was being a little over dramatic and perhaps a little annoying, but she's just 17.Maybe she was just used to hearing praises from people around her so she cried when people tell her otherwise all of a sudden.let's face it, many of us still cry as adults and when people tell us our weaknesses.The importance is that she learns to adapt herself, to grow up and improve. thats all that really matters.

@hellokitty0001111 people dont like her because she is a crybaby. in almost every audition she starts to cry so people are getting annoyed by it. or at least that is for me. and typically if a person like me can get annoyed USUALLY the majority of people have the same idea. Compared to other girls like 백아연 and 박지민 and 이미셀she is inferior in singing to them. She probably got picked to the next round because of the scandal she had recently for ratings. No one likes a crybaby.

From the way JYP gave advice to the contestants, he loves it when singers give in an extra feeling and energy into their songs. She's not super amazing, but he probably sees the potential in Nayoon. She's not a flat singer and she's better off with the piano and slower songs compared to her recent performances.
