when first see balawan at musical video clip "semua bisa bilang", i thought it is impossible to play with both finger, after i saw him playing live only 3 meters from my eye, now i believe this is totally impossibru.. just too bloody awesome my head can't keep up with the speed and technique..

i wish balawan would be the next guitar legend, just like hendrix do

He cannot do what he did in that video on a piano you fucking idiot. The guitar and piano has two distinctly different timbres and what Balawan has done is, he has fused the playing techniques of the piano with the guitar to create a new, musically purposeful and interesting style of music. Fuck you very much, you jealous fucking cunt.

balawan.. the one n only... he has a different style, a different way. i think, frank zappa, paul gilbert or alan holdsworth maybe play better, but they couldn't play like balawan. coz this is balinese style..my man! absolutely unique !

I was fortunate enough to see Balawan at Ubud Bali in 2008, I am returning to Ubud this May (2011) and I really hope I can be fortunate enough to catch him playing again....
