  • i dont agree with you because my nexus has 2 scratches

btw i am using this phone for 3 months now :D

  • I can confirm that the body itself will scratch. Before I traded mine off it had two scratches on the Teflon.

For that matter I've got a Teflon pot in my sink with crazy scratches on it.

  • I could hear the phone scream :(

  • The Nexus One is immortal.BTW i scratch it with the wall when i was on my bed and avoiding to my dog jumping on my face!

  • FAKE!!!!! my nexus becomes after 2 weeks a scratch!!!

  • I like the name of the phone. and the face that it gettin froyo first. But I still love my moto milestone

  • Fuck u i trusted u now i have scratches on my screen Die asshole

  • it would be so fun if u scratched it

  • fake one

  • u know what... i trusted u and didnt use screen protect, but i scratch it even put in my pocket...

  • @giojo15

Sorry to hear about your scratch! Yikes. I've been through 3 replacement phones due to dust under screen issues and so far no screen protector on any with no scratches on any of them. Part of me wants to say perhaps their glass coating could result in other data findings, but 3/3 for me seems pretty solid number. There are some glass scratch removers that may work if you do have one though. =/

  • @omnhitori yeah?? what brand do u suggention?

  • i trusted ur sucks video... and now i got scratchs on my screen, even put in my plcket....... sucks video...

  • sucks video... i trusted ur viedo... but i got scartch even put my nexus in my packet...

  • fake.

  • thanks

  • Cohones... seriously!

  • That took some balls :)

Thanks for sharing. I'm already loving mine.

  • That took some balls :)

Thanks for sharing. I'm already loving mine.

  • Nexus One + Froyo 2.2 firmware = mobile perfection. Mine has liquid damage, and it's not due to water :P

  • your frikkin nuts...but thank you :) <3

  • you have a freaking invisible shield on that thing. i have a nexus one and there is no way the finish on the phone is that shiny plus there is a video on youtube where a guy wrecks the battery cover of the nexus one by scratching it. this video is totally a lie.

  • Hi, I suppose your video was paid by Google because I have a Nexus One too and yesterday, as it was in my pocket with my keys (I'm usually carefull not to have them together... but yesterday was a rushy day !!) and guess what ? I have a scrach on the glass ! I'm furious and vera disapointed.

    From Alphea (Switzerland)

  • you have balls kid.....i have a screen protector and a case on my Nexus, im too damn scared!!

  • Hmmmmm well keys in my pocket scratched up my screen just fine. Think twice and maybe get a protector.

  • Man you have lots of guts!

  • thanks for this video!! I was wondering about this myself, I hate to put mine inside that ugly black thick case. though it protects it a bit if it falls.

  • Cool... tnx for test. :) now i'am very glad with my nexus. :)

  • cool eyelashes

  • How about the camera lens? I am curious if this has the same scratch resistant qualities?

  • thanks for the video. i just bought n1 yesterday and will receive it today! yay!

  • I had a Zagg invisible shield on mine, but didn't like it. The film has a orange-peel-like texture and makes the superb colorful screen look like an average iPhone screen (ok, that's exaggerated a bit, it's still a million times better than the iPhone screen:D ) I didn't know it was scratch proof eighter. thanx for the post

  • u should buy a bodyguardz same as invisible shield except without the orange peel effect overall better feeling

  • zagg is what i use on ALLLLLL of my electronics. BUT i was told last week that they had REALLY faulty nexus one shields. they are making completely new ones because they failed :[

  • it was very usefully bro you are brave i'm enjoying my nexus one and thought i might need to buy scrren but it seems i don't awesome thanks

  • wierd brow dude

  • I'm still getting an invisible shield...$568.41 is too much to leave unprotected

  • @filthyj24 568.41? haha,,mine's 529.00

  • @aigalaxy Tax? Shipping?

  • i love your right eye albino lashes. thats fukkin awesome

  • thanks a lot dude, i'm getting mine soon, i just ordered it last night. i was planning on getting a some screen protection of some kind, but since watching this vid it seems unnecessary :)

  • i could never try this on my phone....

  • @Swagonfly, oh my good that was SO FUNNY! Snail trail

  • will it have a smuge if you had sex on top

  • No, it's also sex-smudge resistant. Check on the Nexus One homepage.

  • Great video. You are a brave man

  • That was painful to watch

  • does it leave smudges if you lay your nuts across the screen?

  • lmfaooo snail trail

  • @Swagonfly

    You made me lol :)

  • @Swagonfly lmao

  • why woould you even ask that?

  • nice video i was going to try it on mine but got to scared thanks abunch this helped me out alot im not buying a screen protector :)

  • Damn man your brave. I can't wait recieve my N1. 2 THUMBS ^

  • That part of a key never scratches your phone because it isn't sharp... try it with grains of sand in your pocket or other parts of the key/keychain

  • Eh yes it does.

    Source: Bad experiences.

  • Thanks for taking the time to demo just how scratch resistant the N1 is. I'll probably still get zagg for my own peace of mind but your tests were note worthy!

  • try a X-acto blade that would work

  • Uhhhhhmmm.. Sure!. Ill try to find one.=)

  • nvm just tried it, very impressive

  • Im glad you are impressed. Now don't take this as an excuse not to care for your phone. If you drop it or hit concrete, it will scratch. =) Just like any other phone.

  • do you have invisshield on it? or is it a brand new one.

  • Is the camera also scratch resistant?

  • Nope, camera backing is just normal plastic. Sorrrryyyy =(

  • give it to me and I will scratch it in 2 sec...

  • Hahaha, of course its doable. I'm just testing light use youd see day to day like i used my iPhone 3GS (which i sold on ebay for this device, and am happy i did)

  • since you tested the scratch resistance.. can you test the water/spill resistance I've always wanted to know but don't have the balls to test.

  • Sorry, no water test. I already know that will end badly. However there is a company that can water proof devices to the point that they can be submerged and still useable. The name escapes me at the moment, but i will get back to you with it. =)

  • wuts with ur ilashes?

  • Random color changes mate. One day they just turned colors 1 by 1. ;)

  • im still geting invisable shield for mine

  • wow, now thats a well made device!

  • That took balls to scratch a beautiful Nexus. I would never try such a thing. I even made my Nexus its own flannel pajamas and it sleeps next to me at night.

  • While reading "Goodnight Moon"

  • @joshywood fake

  • Thanks man. Great vids and you rock for having the balls to try this.

  • why would you even try that?

  • nice!

  • This is going to give me nightmares lol. Nobody but me touches my Nexus.

  • great stuff.

  • Good job.

  • And yes, i examined my screen SUPER close under bright light to check for hairline scratches, nothing. I'm and IT and am picky about these thing. Took my iphone back 17 times for replacement because of single dead pixels. =)

  • Im sorry whoever posted about asking if you should get a screen protector, it accidentally deleted. For me, no. I wont be getting one. I had an iPhone 3gs for 7 months with only 1 hairline scratch from a drop.

Now, it wont scratch really from normal wear, however a good drop on the road or sidewalk will do it. Check the hardness scale. It is glass afterall =))

  • also is there a time limit for getting the phone exchanged by htc, our does this come under 1 year warranty??

  • @uofhtx 14 days to exchange/return. After that it falls only under repair.

  • do you need to buy an other one~

  • @king168van No, just getting it replaced. They take my credit card info and store it, send me a new phone minus battery, back cover, accessories, and the lot, and i sent mine back. =) Really simple and easy.

  • i would never do that to a $600 phone unless you have some screen protector on it. That's ridiculous.

  • @Mgorman87 Haha, HTC is sending me a new phone because my volume down key is broken, so i figured I would run the test.

  • great, no need for a screen protector maybe

  • best phone ever
