these are the latest cars in the BTCC. VW Golf (S2000), Toyota Avensis (NGTC), NEW Honda Civic coupe (which is done by Honda themselfs (NGTC)), the older civic (S2000), Seat leon (S2000), Vauxhall Vetra (S2000) and THIS YEARS INSIGNIA (NGTC), Proton Gen-2 (NGTC), Ford focus ((S2000) although i heard they may be racing the WTCC this year), Chevvy Cruze (S2000), and Skoda Octavia vRS (NGTC)

@Racecarwrecks I'm pretty sure EVERYTHING sucks compared to BTCC lol. Rally a close second and Aussie V8's 3rd. NASCAR has it's own legendary battles but in more recent years, after Earnhardt died, the sport has just become so soft and boring. They keep adding clone tracks for the sake of it and adding ludicrous rules without any regard for the actual racing. It's turned into a freaking bureaucracy. You should check out some of the earlier races pre -1986 before the restrictor plates.

You're right, F1 drivers have to race for a lot longer, and I can only imagine how hard that would be, because you have to think about so much. What gear should I be in, is he going to try and overtake, how much fuel have I got, where should I turn in...it must be knackering.

I find F1 just goes on too long. When my Dad watches it, he watches the first few laps, falls asleep and wakes up at the end. In WTCC, there's about 10 laps, so it's short, sweet and fantastic.

Search for "Best drive in a touring car race ever". This is why Touring Cars kicks F1's ass any day of the week. You can drive like a complete lunatic and still challenge for victory. You make the tiniest mistake in F1 and your race is as good as finished...stops the drivers from taking so many risks.

Touring car racing is so much better than F1. In F1, the car that comes out 1st in the 1st corner is almost certainly going to win. But in WTCC, it's a straight fight (almost literally) right to the last corner. It's so much more interesting and unpredictable.
