We can get off most fossil fuels within 20-30 years if we put a concerted effort into solar, wind, fuel cells, electric cars, algae biofuels, and new nuclear technologies.

We also need a new national smart power grid to move electricity.

We can use a carbon tax on fossil fuels to pay for it, and it'll provide millions of JOBS that can't be exported.

Europe & China are ALREADY doing this and America will lose out in future green energy technologies, if we don't.

We owe it to our grandchildren.

Unfortunately science is not about what you "think". There is an universal consensus among scientists about the climate changes and anyone with common sense observing climate changes in last 5 yars in different part of the world can see that it is no longer a prediction - it is already happening.

We should be more woried about nuclear war in Iran.. if we cant stop that happenning we are doomed anyway. Us government is already seriously planning in with smart nukes that are not that but 6 x that of Hiroshima. Bush and all who pull his strings need to be impeached and held for treason.

This is a scare tactic for globalisaton and will make everyone accept a one world government. The sun is why the earth is heating up and science and data prove the sun is in a cycle of increase sun spots producin heat surge.
