I believe this was broadcast as part of the show (Another World), so she is referring to events in the storyline of the show. From other videos it looks like Crystal Gayle's character was almost killed.

Gary Morris has an incredible voice ... he successfully combines the ability to sing country and Broadway musicals. That is really special. Where is he now?

to texroj80 - there was a duet album Crystal Gayle and Gary Morris released in the summer of 1987. Its called "What if we Fall in Love" It has a blue cover with the two of them embracing. It was released by Warner Bros. Records. Hope this helps

Gary Morris, what a great singer. The first time that I saw him was as a guest on the Johnny Carson show. He sang a song that I strongly feel was the best of any one who ever did the song, "The Winds Beneath My Wings." I have Gary's Christmas Disc (Album)which I purchase over 10 years ago. Anyone know whatever happen to Gary Morris?

NBC would have been smart to keep Another World instead of the attempts with Sunset Beach and Passions. Now its left with nothing but Days of Our Lives that won't survive without a soap block on NBC.
