This was a really fun game back then. Albeit it had awfully cartoony graphics and the physics were horrible. Fun game nonetheless.

Such good memory of these games. Midway's games obviously weren't the most realistic but you can't argue with the amount of fun they brought, especially in multiplayer games. Would be an amazing game to have in a college dorm.

The intensity of a real hockey game (a good one) is simulated in NHL Hitz games better than in any other hockey games including NHL 2009.

Just enlarge the rink slightly, add 2 more players on ice, add bunch of new animations, add defensive A.I. , add online gaming capabilities and release the game on PC, and it would have potentiality to become massive with online hockey leagues.

Most of the enjoyment me and my friend get out ofd this game is hearing some of the wacky lines by the commentators... a lot of the sound like they are talking about s*** or are sexual if you replace a word or two or sometimes none at all. HILARIOUS
