  • prepaid cell phones, as long as you pay with cash!!

  • even skype isnt fullproof

  • bullshit ! haHaha LOOK whose scared ! fuck yeah British!

  • this is why you prank call from the internet or something and mask your number as someone else xD

  • Opus!

  • the only way that the police would actually look into a prank call is if you make some kind of terrorist threat. anything else is a waist of time for them.

  • "I made prank calls as a kid, and thought it was fun. Of course, we didn't have terrorists then...."

When were there no terrorists? I'd like to go back to that time...

  • you sir are a winner! yes you are.

oh, did I say winner? terribly sorry mate. I meant to say loser. yes, loser. LO HO HO ZER!!!

    j/k NOT! anyway, all you need to do is;

    1) build your own PBX

    2) buy server space with an ANON giftcard

    3) create your own asterisk server

    4) ????????

    5) profit

  • I like it when kids phone up pizza parlours and ask "do you deliver".

    The guy says "yes".

The kid says "ok i'll have a deep pan peperoni pizza with salami, tomatoes, garli and liver".

The guy says "we don't do liver".

The kid says " but you said you deliver"

The guys says "yes we do deliver". So the kid says "ok i'll have a deep pan peperoni pizza with salami, tomatoes, garlic and liver.

  • I don't quite know how i found this video because i certainly wasn't searchng for anything to do with prank calls but a coulple of points anyway:

Firstly you did not need to make this video last for 4 minutes and 2 seconds just to convey a few sentences, way way too long to long man.

Secondly i like the Mike Hunt joke thats a new one to me.

Thirdly regarding the comments below about phone booths being fairly safe i would like to point out that there is CCTV everywhere nowadays.

  • Yea... most people don't make prank calls to the same number repeatedly..that would just be stupid...and most people aren't stupid enough to threaten someone's life or call them any type of slurs...most of the time they just act stupid and the person hangs up....If a person is stupid enough to threaten someone over the phone, then they deserve to go to jail. But regular prank calls, are harmless.

  • who gives a fuk...prank calls arent even that serious, you lame! we knw you have to much time on ur hands!

  • you cant be traced using *67 unless you still talking or the the line is still open home phones still tell pepole who you are they just call and ask for call records plus your call needs to be routedUSE A PAY PHONE!!!!

  • audacity + skype + google 411 = prank call

  • I always do prank call from my cell phone. I buy Pre-Paid SIM cards at the flee market (2 for $15) and use them 3 or 4 maybe 5 times to prank call, Best $15 dollars I spend. You guys should try this, is wrong Yet Funny. YAY FOR PRANK CALLS!

  • what the hell kinda music is this.....this stuff makes me cry.

    lmao

  • but...what if skype is used from a computer?.......can it still be traced?

  • ive done that before, they cant call you back i think .

  • no it cannot

  • this kinda made me think about my next prank call lol well done

*** picks up phone and calls star pizza ***

hi i'd like to order a peporoni pizza to 143 leet street

    *** dials new marble ***

hi can i have a dog kebab and cat soup?

    * they put manager on and ramble on *

  • whats this song?

  • #3 On Cambridge by dignen

  • Lol Mike Hunt.

  • there used to be a website on this video and now i cant find it can you please send me that website.

  • P.S. last comment until reply...instead you COULD say "we punished ONLY the bad guys then"

  • Video description didn't add up

"...Of course, we didn't have terrorists then..."

"my time was all innocent', no matter WHO says it, is ALWAYS B.S. just to say that it's ALRIGHT for my gen. to be locked up for doing what comes natural to kids/teens, mischeif.

U wanna talk about "the belt" well, shoulda given US the belt it's sure better than tasers.

Late 80's was the MOST violent time in American History since the Civil War, America's WORST tragedy was the Civil War. The last 80's was a cont

  • iniation of a gang epidemic which is from the 1930's, caused by prohibition. These aren't gang members dying their LITTLE KIDS AND OLD LADIES and when it happens to US no laws change

CALLING TEENAGERS "sex offenders" for what they do to SOMEONE THEIR OWN AGE CONCENTUALLY and calling AMERICAN CITIZENS "terrorists"., do NONE of you have grandparents who met as "high school sweet hearts"? YOU don't think they fucked? It's not pleasant to think about but lol you get the picture sorry for ranting.

  • Tell telemarketers to stop calling my house then...I dont see a difference between prank calls and spam on the phone. The "law" only protects the rich.

  • this is gay

  • you know its stupid that people get over prank calls i mean really they shouldnt even answer the phone is it says unknown or private number people are just stupid and pissy sometimes but never prank call high authority like police schools etc. because they definitly have tracers

  • VOIP calls will trace back to the PSTN gateway that the VOIP company uses to connect to the phone network form there your IP address can be tracked back to you. if you connect to a network other than you home it will track back to that place. if you are really paranoid you could spoof you mac address also.

  • I don't use VOIP, so thanks for providing this information.

  • lol i called mountain dew and told them it gave me diarrhea.

  • Thats why you use VOIP calls and call US from EU :P

  • LOL =]

  • You're right, phone booths are pretty safe as far as I know. But there aren't a whole lot of them around any more, at least where I live.

Hey, I'm not preaching against prank calls or anything. This is just an educational video!

  • dude phone booths arnt going anywhere your crazy!!!! You prbably live in Hickton

  • but what if you call froma phone booth?

  • yeah my dad is a cop and he says they can only track it if u have been on for more than a minute...

  • Not true. They may need a minute for an immediate trace of a phone call, but this video isn't about trying to catch a kidnapper at a phone booth. The second your call connects, your number goes into the LUD of the receiving number. The phone company can provide that number to the police, with or without a warrant if they choose.

  • Make a lot of prank calls NewBoi? hehe :)

  • there is no law against prank calling. The only thing that you could get in trouble is harassment. (calling them after they tell you to quit)

  • Actually, there are several laws against pranking which have been on the books for decades. They are rarely prosecuted, but that doesn't mean they can't be.

Also, telephone service is "at will," (except for 911 access) which means your service provider could unilaterally cut off your service if it received what it considered to be to many complaints about how you used your phone.

I'm not trying to get people not to prank, I just want them to make an informed choice.

  • It is not illegal to prank call, as long as you go about it the right way. If you harass, threaten, frighten, or offend somebody to the point that they seek help from some authority, you are liable. But that would be the same as saying something offensive or threatening to somebody's face. Talking isn't illegal, even if you're fucking with somebody.

  • no. you had terrorists back then. you were just too stupid and later influenced by the rhetoric of washington these past eight years to think terrorists sprang up out of nowhere.

  • Only 8 years??? Get real dude.

  • it ACCTUALY WORKS!

  • I actually know a guy named Mike Hunt... I'm serious! His parents were sick...

  • LOL. Poor kid, but funny!

  • Then try this.

Buy a 1 time use calling card(long distance)

Go to a lone pay phone in the middle of Deer

    Lick Utah.

Use gloves and make your prank call then run

    like the wind!

  • wow...thanks for letting me know that

  • JUst so you guys know if your using the internet to make prank call, than it's much easier and fun if you have wireless internet connection. because you could use any of the unsecured wireless connection and make the prank call! EASY AS THAT! FUCKER!

  • Sorry, I'm not up on wireless because I don't have it. Do you mean you could use another person's wireless connection so any trace would go back to them? That's a good idea, I guess.

  • I have a pre-paid cell...I crank sometimes

  • lol i pranked called a lot of pizza places one night and the FBI came but i think thats be cause a said something about a bomb ^^ lol im crazy

  • LMAO i actually called pizza hut to be exact and i forgot to block my number with *67...:O ten minutes later i got 15 calls from the pizza hut corporate. lol whoops!

  • wot a waste of fucking time you wanker

  • hey take it easy...

  • dude use a freekin payphone

  • Just because you're calling from an IP doesn't mean you can't get caught. The police might not do anything, but the FBI or NSA sure could if you did anything stupid. Telecom logs would point to Skype, who will surrender logs and account information under subpoena. The authorities will also subpeona your ISP for your account information.

Anybody can query any IP against a public database that will show it's country, region, city and ISP of origion - but IP is all they need to track you home

  • This is why almost 15000+ prank calls are now made from skype. Not only does it give a number to a computer. Its harder to track considering most people don't use the cell phone on skype. They call directly from skype. Which gives you an i.p not a phone number. Yes its still able to be discovered but its unlikely that the police are going to attempt to spend time tracking an i.p that could be in bum fuck egypt. -Emo.

  • Just so you know, it is very easy to spoof or cover up your ANI. You can also use someone else's ANI to make a call - that means someone can make it appear as if they are calling from anywhere. The ANI system has a poor security layer, and you can literally use any combination of numbers to identify yourself. For this reason, if you recieve calls from a financial institution - hang up and call them back because the person on the line may not be who they say they are.

  • Warnings to hang up and call back any bank, credit card company, etc. that called you and asked for information have been around a long time. I always thought it was because your real financial institution should already have that information. Now we know another reason why.

Thank you, monkeylicious08, for sharing your knowledge. That people do things like this is one of the great attributes of the YouTube community.

  • Just trying to help :) I'm involved in the telecom industry. The ANI exploit is with PSTN lines used primarily by corporate PBXs and VOIP providers. This exploit has been used by PIs and scammers for many years now. It's also legal. Researching this and having a little money to invest in service charges can allow ANYONE with access to a phone line (cellular or land line) to call ANYONE ELSE using ANY ANI they choose. Caller ID references ANI, so the intended name will show up on caller id.

  • just use a pre paid phone or an unlocked stolen/pre paid phone they work for free and are imposible to trace just dont use them in your house gps locater). most cops dont even bother with prank calls anyway cause they are to busy snorting confiscated drugs in the locker rooms making cranks themselves.

  • Thank you, NewBoi, for making this video. Finally, someone who contributes to the welfare and safety of the viewers community.

  • I appreciate your kind words.

  • it's illegal to record a call so it dont matter

  • It depends on the state you live in. In many states, recording a call is perfectly legal so long as the person doing the recording is one of the people in the conversation, and not a third party listening in.

And if someone records a person making harassing or threatening phone calls, that would be admissable in any court in the USA.

And of course, the police can always record your call, with or without (in many cases, thanks to the Patriot Act) a warrant. & the NSA records everything.

  • i just use *67 before i call

  • Hey, just to let you know: *67 will block your number from most numbers, but NOT toll-free (800, 877, 866 etc) numbers. Also, even when your number is blocked from the party you call because you dialed *67, your number is still recorded in their LUD, which the phone company and police can access.

    Knowledge is Power.

  • what is u prank from a pay-phone...

  • i use skype

  • i don't know anything about skype, i should check into it. thanks for mentioning it.

  • yea but it fricken expesive use a pre paid cell. duh no names anywere. they even come with minutes. and pay with a pre paid credit card or buy a card with minutes

  • 3:20 ... thats the most ghetto-est excuse for a cell phone ive ever seen... that shit looks like a remote.

  • ahaha, i went and looked at it and you're right! i hadn't noticed before. (maybe it *is* a remote?! gah!)

even worse: i noticed that i spelled a word wrong! that's gonna drive me crazy....

  • uhh ok

  • lesson to be learnt.

make prank calls from stolen phones.

  • yes!!!

  • omg this is like the abstinence speech crap that

they feed kids at my school, but with prank phone calls.

    --->you suck

    -->comment by 'yoshi'

    ->(-_-)

  • I'm sorry, but you're confused. Sex education, which I endorse, teaches kids about sex and sexuality and its physical, emotional, and moral implications, and then lets them decide whether or not to engage in sexual behavior. Abstinence education simply says, "don't do it."

This is "prank phone call education." I inform people that should they make such calls, the technology is in place to hunt them down and hang their head on a wall. But I DON'T tell people not to make prank calls. I have. =)

  • fuck of as if someone's gonna like call the police if someone prank calls 'em unless threats or racist comments were made their is nothing against the law about 'em

  • hey, i've gotten the occasional prank call and i laugh, it's mostly kids being kids. i'm certainly not going to report them to the police.

but before you start giving legal advice, you should know what you're talking about. all though they are rarely enforced, there are several laws prohibiting prank phone calls and if you piss off the wrong person, you could face criminal charges (fines maybe, not jail).

    i'm not anti-prank call (i pranked as a kid). i'm anti-ignorance. knowledge is power.

  • i love to call the cop shop and tell them i'm going to bomb them so one day they closed up the cop shop and told everyone they had to close up because of a bomb threat and all these people starting comitting crimes and shit and the cops couldn't do nothing because they got scared when i called them and next time i'm going to burn down a bunch of houses and cars. hahahahahahhahahhahahahhahhahha

  • go to jail. go directly to jail. do not pass Go. do not collect $200.

  • thanx it helped me alot i call a pizza place in my town

  • well if you don't wanna get caught, you could just buy a trac fone and call from that..unless you have to give your name but i dont think you have to..but i could be wrong, well if you do just give a false name

  • Hah I stopped making prank phone calls after I thought of who could be on the other line, I used to dial random phone numbers in the phone book, I just got lucky and officer wasn't on the other line lmao

  • I got a question for Newboi (or ne1 else that can answer)...What if you call from a VOIP service like Skype or VOIPBuster? I saw the caller ID for outgoing calls from VOIP providers are either unavailable or some wierd number. Can they trace the call to your IP address or something?

  • Interesting question, and I'm sorry I'm not sure of the answer. However, I suspect some number would still show up on the LUD of the person/company you called, which means the police--though probably not the callee--could back track to the source (you). It would be a task, though, so I imagine they would only do it if you made a threat of some sort, and not just a stupid prank call. BUT, that's just my best guess. Does anyone else know?

  • im pretty sure they can if it was sum federal type threat calls theyd b able to.

  • why not use a pay phone in a town u never ussusaly visit?

  • dude you know what happens if you threaten or say racist shit over they phone? they either call you or cops show up and they just tell you to stop. there was a guy in the news that got harassed night and day for months by pranks but they really couldn't do anything since prank calls arent against the law in most places

  • lol yeah me and my brother called zehrs like 100 times in 1 night and they actually sent the cops to are house

  • the phone was invented for prank calls, Alexander Graham Bell was you know just chillin when he decided to prank his mate but didnt know hense the invention of the phone!

  • lol lol

  • do u really think this video would make me stop prank calling people?

  • it's not supposed to make you stop, only let you make an informed decision. knowledge is power, or so they say....

  • thx 4 the warning but thats all my friend does so he will probly get cought if u r not lying. He always call walmarts and stuff like that funny stuff tho

  • PAY PHONES RULE!

  • most have cams by them, but they still are great

  • really great but the music is kinda distracting

  • did you just compare terrorism to prank phone calls

    hello is your refrigerator running

    yes

then you better catch it before it explodes in the jfk airport!!!!

  • Um, I don't think I did... Prank phone calls are a much more serious threat. ;)

  • why would people bother to call the police over a stupid prank call (like the refrigerator one)

  • Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah...woah...You tell us to "Prank at our own risk"...does that mean that your promoting the 'Refrigerator Prank'?

BTW, um...you never mentioned Tee Peeing...

  • True about 800 866 877 numbers, even if your number is private, and you prank them. They have your number.

Prank calling was fun when I was a kid, you almost do not want to do it in this day in age. too many features now caller Id, Call Tracing etc phone companies offer.

  • hey wait youre the guy that called me last week . grrrrr u took it to far .. u said that i was using a telephone whatever one of those was. thnks for the vid lots of infomation i rlly dident know . i 4t they paid for the line to make customers feel wanted.

  • So the lesson is, use a pay phone....if you can find one that is.

  • good vid

  • I can sympathize with this video. Your number and phone location can and will be traced if you make a prank call, which of course means that if you prank call me I will fuck you up! You may think its a harmless joke. You may think no real harm can come from asking someone if their frigerator is running, but there is harm. Prank phone calls destroy lives. I know a guy who got prank called, 70 years later he was dead. People don't kill people; prank phone calls do.

  • lmao, my point exactly!

  • Nlmao

  • huh, how did a call kill him? I mean I got a REALLY freaky call from a "long distance" line and they started saying they were the guy who likes me and I told them to shut up. =p (why dont you just shut up ok? SHUT. UP)

  • this is exactly what you messaged us haha

  • yeah, i dont try to make many prank calls

  • If you like the vid, please tell a friend about it! Thanks.
