I like Zhang Li Yins unique and powerful vocal ability. She was nervous with live performances, but she has improved and with great vocal control. You can see her great performance on May 1, 2009 in Chinas Bird Nest Olympic stadium for Jackie Chans Friends charity concert. Unfortunately lack of promotion for her after her debuted in Korea in 2006, to-date still unknown to China and may have been forgotten in Korea. I hope both singers can learn Cantonese and hit Hong Kong Market.
I love the debut song TIMELESS sang by Zhang Li Yin (Jang Ri In) feat. Xiah Junsu. Both Jane Zhang and Zhang Li Yin are good singers. It is all about song choices. Every good singer has different vocal strength and Timeless does not promote Janes voice ability well. I like Jane because she is the first singer to-date that can perform Teresas songs well and gave it justices (you can see in Teresa Tengmemorial Concert). Of course no one can replace Teresa Teng; she is one of a kind.
I think she need more air or more power in her voice to be able to sustain the notes and to...not let it just fade. I mean Zhang Li Yin did well sometimes. I think even she struggles with the song live. This is definitely a hard song to sing live.
As a chinese, i think the way she sang her English songs was very good almost like a westerner and is a pity that we will not have a chance to listen to her singing anymore!Rest in Peace 黎礎寧!

i dont really like her voice. she cnt really sing that well. this singer has quite a weak voice. definately not a suitable song for her.
Zhang Liyin has a really powerful voice. i reckon sometimes its too pwoerful that she cant fully control it. i dont think the song's the problem.
