  • It's cute,

but it's gonna spray your ass! ;)

  • How can something so cute smell so bad?

  • Aww, he's adorable. Look at his wittle nose!

Makes you want to hug him and kiss his nose.

    = ]

  • Very cute!

  • Awwwwwwwe

  • heyy, if u fart, u have somebody to blame lol its cute :3

  • wanna kiss his nose

  • Now domesticated skunks, on the other hand, do make great pets. Just make sure they are legal in your state, and make sure they've been de-scented, which they usually have.

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • amazing! beautiful animal!

  • and people shoot these :(

  • @tatetalk So?

  • @threeby8887 what do you mean 'so'? they are harmless little animals, it would be like shooting a puppy or something.

  • @tatetalk Wild skunks (as differentiated from domesticated/pet skunks) are not entirely harmless. They are known carriers of rabies, and need I remind you of their highly noxious spray?

  • @tatetalk Besides, I'm only talking about wild skunks, which I would actually rather trap and relocate a long way from me (but if it sprays, it's getting shot), NOT someone's pet skunk. Pet skunks are harmless.

  • @threeby8887 For the most part wild skunks are harmless. Now the whole trapping and relocating thing is illegal in some states, also those states usually have a law stating that you must kill the animal upon trapping it. Relocating an animal in a suburb (with woods) is pointless, as more will return.

  • @tatetalk Cool. I would rather trap-and-relocate, as I believe it is more humane than just shooting the animal. At least it's giving the skunk or other animal a second chance. But I'm not going to lose sleep if I do have to shoot it.

  • @tatetalk : Some idiots will shoot just about anything. :o(

  • Awwwwww

  • i want one

  • awwww!!! i want oneeee!...too bad my mom is scared stiff of them XD

  • Skunks actually make great pets when they're decented. It's basically a cat after that.

  • TOO, TOO, CUTE!

    Bless the little guy/gal.

  • i want a skunk now lol

  • damm, thought i was gonna see some weed :( cute pet tho

  • Holy shit I want one NOW!!!

  • Where did u get the skunk?

  • thats stupid

  • Just to inform you , I had a pet skunk too. Inrfant skunks do and can spray at that age. Usually when startled they tend to not be able to control themselves. Best to have them operated on ASAP.

  • So cute :)

  • what if it farts?

  • omg that's adorable.

  • do they fart really that bad? and how often?...and 100% chic magnet!

  • do they fart really that bad? and how often?

  • @MrRayRayo Most of the time pet skunks are de-scented. So they can't spray and smell no worse than a cat.

  • @MrRayRayo : Its not like a fart like after you've had refried beans at a Tex-Mex restaurant. The scent glands are located in the anus of the skunk but the scent is coming from the two glands. Skunks will only spray when absolutely necessary because there is a limited amount in the glands. Once all has been used it takes up to 10 days to make more of the scent. In the meantime the skunk is defenseless. If you see a skunk hissing and stomping its feet, that's a warning to back off!

  • @auggiedoggy And if a wild skunk does spray me or one of my loved ones, I get to spray it right back, with some buckshot.

  • @threeby8887 : Wow, aren't you the tough guy.lol.

  • @auggiedoggy It has nothing to do with whether I'm tough or not. It's about pest control. I would have the same attitude if I had a mouse or rat in my home or yard.

  • @threeby8887 : Can't stand coexisting with nature? There are humane ways of removing pests from your home and property and if you are living outside or on the outskirts of a city its really YOU who is the unwanted intruder.

  • @auggiedoggy Fine. I would rather trap-and-relocate wild animals (except rats, mice, scorpions, and certain insects such as roaches and bedbugs--I'm sorry, but they die).

As for wherever I or anyone else may choose to live, that is our perrogative, and we each have the right to not only get rid of unwanted animals from our property, but to also defend ourselves and our loved ones from these animals. Yes, they have a right to live in their realm, and we have a right to be free from them.

  • soooooooooooooo cute!!!

  • He's so goddam cute! I want one sooooo bad!

  • Why do the cutest pets have to be illegal in California? :(

  • @Rogueofmv Because we live with a bunch of prudes. T_T I want my gerbil, and my ferret.... XD

  • @Rogueofmv Cause Cali is eeevvvvillll. 0.o

  • I agree with you, Kahunaalexander

  • It is he who is caring for him, he decides how he wants to take care! It's just a baby! This skunk is a female or male?

  • OMG! This skunk is so cute! I love skunks!

  • That's the cutest goddamn thing I've ever seen. I couldn't be more jealous.

  • Can you get these as pets in Scandinavia? They're so cool but wouldn't want them to freeze.

  • Even still, it would clear a crowded room faster than a hand grenade.

  • @123backinyerface Why I'd like one- for the reaction alone when a SKUNK walks into the room LMAO "Oh, didn't I tell you about my pet skunk?"

  • I hope you have a gas mask

  • you can get the scent gland removed

  • @Lexie123spazz No, no you DO get the gland removed ;)

  • If a skunk is taken care of and feels safe then it would have no reason to spray, at college (Animal care) we have a skunk and he has never sprayed anyone before

  • @weasle999 exactly, the spray is a defence mechenism.

  • it looks kinda cutee

  • ferrets might b fun as hel but train a skunk to spray on burglars then u wont need a effin guard dog! and noone would wanna beat u haha

  • @animalrights800 PLUS that burglar would be pretty easy to "spot." ;)

  • dats ur pet skunk???

  • SO CUTE

  • They remove the spraying glands before they sell them

  • skunks are only legal to own in 17 of the 50 states

  • @Yeticabra you are answering the question i was about to ask, thanks (Owning a skunk is forbidden here in Belgium)

  • Aaaaw... Your skunk is gorgeous.

  • He looks like sonic the hedgehog ..LoL cute!

  • OMJ HOW ADORABLE!!!

  • CUTENESS OVERLOAD!:)

  • '

    wow,,,

i want this baby skunk so bad,,,

how old this baby skunk can go vet and fix stop spray stink

  • where do u get a pet skunk

  • @bikeXscootXski Presumably from a breeder. I have a pet African pygmy hedgehog and that's how you can get them.

  • hey, hope your skunk is still running and enjoying the life, I love skunks

  • loophole for pet skunks.. let them adopt YOU! I have three babies adopt me. Jitters, nervy and Spaz. ate out of my hand guarded my house, YES guarded.. Had to let them know a human was safe to let by or not. They stayed outside, I fed them pet them told them to stay in backyard, and they did. Until they discovered forest 1 block over next spring, but were best house protection you could ask for.

  • So cute! Give him a hug and pet for me! If you still have him. :)

  • /WANT

  • Wow don't take it to the vet so you would rather someone take their baby skunk to billy bob who lives in the farm down the road? Piss off anything surgical being done to an animal deserves a vet visit!

  • do skunks smell like all the time ?

  • @badman2812

    no

  • does the skunk bight?

  • its illegal in NY to have one :(

  • @Apathy319 actually it is not illegal in NY State to have one. maybe the city it is.

  • Sucks my state only dogs cats lizards and hamsters :( I'll never get to own an exiting animal

  • Racoons and Skunks are just awesome, so goddamn awesome! Why, I love them ^^

  • Did u get him fixed so he wont spray?

  • i got a skunk 2!!!!

  • awwwwwww cute

  • @Janneiry0 Yes! I love his nose. :)

  • ugh skunks creep me out

  • @Kahunaalexander Good while it lasted? its not a missing gobstopper, mate.

  • Cool

  • Reading your Update why wouldn't you take them to a vet to have it done? Vets in PA will usually do it. Skunks have become very common as pets here.

  • SO CUTE!!

  • how old is that baby skunk in the video?:3 its so cute!X3

  • O.O skunk ??? ur crazy !!

  • awww, him is cute!!

  • Aww what a cutie,I have a baby Opassum, and my freind has a baby skunk,He does the removal thing

  • I don't give a fuck if they're illegal or not.

    I'm getting a skunk.

It's better to be with me, and be happy, safe, and understood, than to be splattered all over the road or eaten by some owl.

(Animals are very logical, and so am I, meaning that I know what they're thinking, and why they do things, making it very easy to both relate, and to communicate.

It's hard to explain, but I'm sure there's someone out there that knows what I'm trying to communicate to you.)

  • lmao ur so full of shit XD

  • Now that is adorable

  • AW ITS SO CUTE! :D

  • how can u even have a pet skunk?

  • @angelmk13g

they have their spray glands removed and are sold at pet stores...rare though

  • @tbdl2014 Thank you for telling me. when i go to look to the pet stores i never see them but ill ask them if they do get them or so on. have a great day

  • skunk s are cool but when dey spary you is all bad

  • that skunk is cute, till it sprays you.

  • I live in Kentucky also, there all over the place here but I heard Lexington and Louisville stopped selling them, I wonder where a pet store is that sells them, I want one bad :)

  • that house must be funky. skunks stink so dam bas :( i almost threw up! but they are so cute :] gosh i wish they didn't stink

  • That skunk is cute but just don't take him for a walk!

  • wut do they eat

  • @MissMaddy881 what's bad about them getting run over on a highway if the stink glands are gone??

  • watch the video and see.

  • Removing the glands and putting them back in the wild would remove the only real line of defense a skunk has, and would thus be cruel and slightly unusual.

  • oh ok. the reason i asked is because feral cats can be spayed/neutered and put back on the streets, although i wouldn't recommend that because i like cats.

  • I don't care what anyone says. Skunks are adorable...

Why anyone would want a FERRET, I don't know. Grab a skunk!

    ...Carefully, lol!

  • there feet are really soft :p

  • @gr8fzy1 I love my ferrets but would looove to have a skunk, unfortunately they are illegal to own here. That is why I have ferrets

  • @gr8fzy1 I love my ferrets but would looove to have a skunk, unfortunately they are illegal to own here. That is why I have ferrets.

  • @gr8fzy1 ferrets are fun as hell thats why

  • @gr8fzy1 ikr haha lol!!!

  • @gr8fzy1 isnt there a way to paralyze the spray gland

  • @gr8fzy1 because ferrets dont spray like dirty smell skunks and if they get sprayed dont balme it on me

  • @haider22749 are you retarded? like, SERIOUSLY? lol you must have something wrong in your head. PET SKUNKS HAVE THEIR SCENT GLANDS REMOVED. so that means they are incapable of spraying. fuckin tard.

  • i want a skunk so bad

  • Skunks are allowed here, once I get into college I'm going to get one and treat like a king.

  • I've always wanted a baby skunk. My state doesn't allow them as pets. ( CT.) Neither does NY,RI, MA. I'm so jelous!!!

  • are they still able to spray anyone

  • @corcrssly507 no they get there glands removed just like ferrets ,ferrets are cousins of the skunk

  • OMG! SOOO CUTE! I LOVE HM! heees soooooo cute! hahah!

  • skunks are allowed in my state lol. i got chased by a rabid skunk once. poor thing was so cute but had to die

  • The reason skunks are not allowed in most states is because there is no working rabies vaccination for skunks and skunks are high risk animals for contracting rabies.

I happen to be one state away from being able to legally own a skunk :\

  • Dangit, there's GOTTA be some loophole to allow skunks in my state! They're just TOO CUTE!

Help the fight for nationwide skunk domestication! We are the nights who say ñ'œ!

  • i know! i'm so ticked off because skunks aren't allowed in my state either!!! >=(

  • if you want to get one as a pet you get one at an animal shelter and they take out the spray gland for you

  • @boogracestella what kind of pet shelter and r they allowed in ohio

  • Yes, they're allowed in Ohio.

  • domestic skunks doesn't spray

  • Ahaha! They remove the scent glans.

My aunt had a Skun she named him Domino.

Apparently they are near sighted and follow you around the house to keep track of you all the time.

  • Hey, you could always blame your farts on the skunk!

  • So cute!

  • I had a rare one, one with all white and one with white and brown

  • Sad that your skunk wandered off though. They're such adorable pets. But I don't recommend descenting them. A bath every other day with ferret shampoo works very well a keeping the musk down. Plus, as you said, they don't spray family because they hate strong smells, believe it or not. And if your skunks isn't descented, then anyone breaking into your house is not going to be hard for the police to identify.

  • never knew you could have pet skunks thats so cute I wasnt one now!

  • where did you get that? i wanna get one too! please reply((:

  • I have some friends who were driving down a road in SC. They saw something on the side of the road and stopped. They found a whole litter(or whatever you call a group of them) of baby skunks. Well of course I saw it and immediately fell in love LOL! I told them I wanted one, but there was some hesitation. Would you wanna give up your skunk? The next couple of days they were going down the same road and found one more baby wandering on road. So of course they gave me the skunk. I miss him. :(

  • at the end of comment you say you miss him. did your skunk pass away? :(

  • No, he disappeared one day, must have wondered off and got killed or stolen or something, IDK. It was good while it lasted

  • aww he looked sweet, i want a skunk haha but this state dont allow them as pets bummer haha :P

  • He was very sweet, cute in just about every way. What state is it? I just moved to KY and I want a raccoon or another skunk. I haven't checked to see if it was illegal here. My cousin had a baby owl, but yeaaa the cat got a hold of it. I named it "hoot" LOL! I wanted an owl, but i guess you cant have everything...

  • arizona, this state fails. not even allowing fennec foxes ha. gotta love this world we live in. telling us what we cant have as pets in some states, bleh. :(

  • Heh, why sure, everyone needs a fennec fox in their home. LOL Yea, i do have a solution for you though. Its a sure fire way for you to keep a skunk in your home. Just move...LOL simple eh? :P

  • yeaaa yeaa i should but hey we cant have everything! :P

  • @Kahunaalexander Can Canada keeps lil skunk like those lil tiny winy skunk :3 let me know!!!!CUZ I WANNA SNUGGLE WITH IT

  • @moodyfoofoo no skunks allowed in ontario. which sucks. i will move from this place one day to own a skunk. they are too adorable!

  • @DoomedFennec Because it are wild animals >.<.. Must people aren't even capable of taking care of a dog. Let get along of these animals..

  • @patrick10001 It's not a wild animal if you raise it from a baby. Skunks are also raised for pets just like ferrets and rabbits can be. They too could be consider a wild animal also but they have domesticated ones also.

Taking care of a skunk is a tad bit more work than a cat but not much.

  • @DoomedFennec What State?

  • @Kahunaalexander I'm so sorry to hear that...

  • Oh no, my computer exploded from Cuteness Overload! Especially on 0:07

  • Aw! Thats so cute! I want a pet skunk but my mom won't even ley me have a frog...

  • chinchillas are cuter =P

  • that skunk is so cute it would kiss it all day and when he died I would throw myself on his grave and vow to love him till the end of time

  • they take out the spray glands in domesticated skunks. i want one as a pet, they're actually pretty cool

  • Do they use a litter box?

  • They'll choose a corner to do their dirty, and that's where you put the tray. If it's in an awkward place, you can move it bit by bit day by day once they're used to using it.

  • @bday121 yup they do!!!! its kinda weird though but you will have to clean it alot!!

  • @bday121 Yes They Do

  • @bday121 Yes, but unfortunately, the skunk chooses its location, which for example might end up being a corner in your kitchen. Once the skunk picks a spot it is very difficult to impossible to get him to change it.

  • Wow how can you even have a skunk as a pet. That is crazy. How do the take there sprayer out?

  • They chop the glands out. you have to have tons of permits; need rapid shots and you have to get them when they're babies.

  • Ok, not really, no permits, not here anyways, they don't chop the glands out they surgically remove them, but its BEST if you get them when they're babies. You sound like a sulky activist...no offense.

  • In my State, you need two permits, mandatory shots, and the breeder said you have to get them when they're babies or else they won't bond with you. I don't know what sulky activists is so no offense taken.

  • all is well then. :D

  • Weird question.

Does removing his glands effect him in any major ways? Just curious.

    Nice skunk

  • He'll try to spray. But nothing happens. XD Poor skunk.

  • Before someone whips out their gas masks, please let me continue.

    LOL..

  • I could "just kiss that skunk"_!!!!!!
