hey i'm trouble with an n scale turnout number 6 . ok when cross over the points where moves it goes dead no overload light comes or no just dead. but i push on metal part and it moves. so tell what is going and it is a powered switch but not wired up yet

How should I go about making yard.? I read that they shouldn't be on the cork. What about ballastin a yard?
