This movie isn't necessarily scary but its REALLY hard to see. I cried for 10 minutes when the woman became possessed with "La Llorona" and picked up her
couple-months-old baby and drowned her, even if they didn't show it happening you could hear the baby cry as she drowned her in the bathtub. :''( my dad has the DVD but I'm not planning on watching it again anytime soon.

la llorona is some story mexican moms tell their kids in order to have them behave. if you dont behave the llorona is going to come get you. trust me, im mexican.
the original llorona comes from the so called "discovery of the americas" by cristopher colombus. the mayans had multiple visions of something horrible approaching and one of these was that a woman was crying for her children because she knew something was going to happen and she didnt know how to protect them.
This is a Latino America legend it comes from Colombia and it is very scary some people have said they have heard her crying but only in the jungle!!! I'm from Colombia.
