  • 'i just wanna die without you'...... i knew how beautifully tragic this line was... i just never thought i'd have such first hand experience with the emotion of it, recently i know the feeling too well

  • he didn't wanna play the harmonica because i think it was the wrong one

  • Might be my fav song of all time. My fav RA song for sure.

  • I really like this

  • @tdubbs026 Where are these videos from? I have watched a few but I can't figure out when where or why they happened.

  • i love how he has the wrong key harmonica. plays a few notes out of key and then just carries on with a little solo. legend.

  • one of the most beautiful songs i ever heard, stunning..absolutely stunning

  • i hope everyone will appreciate the great tragedy of the fact that his harmonica was in the wrong key

  • ryan FUCKING adams. brilliant. too bad screaming fans at his shows made him lose the desire to tour. his fault really for being too sensitive. a huge loss for us all. fuck I love this music.

  • why die without you?? dont get the last parrt :(

  • @lilfredd1393 He's saying that he just wants to die if he can't be with the girl.

  • @tdubbs026 oh wow. lol i was hearing it wrong.. that makes more sense

  • @tdubbs026 or boy

  • @tdubbs026 I also misinterpreted the last line when I first heard the song. I used to think he was saying that he didn't want her to die with him.

    I just wanna die..without you.

Sometimes I prefer hearing it this way.

  • @lilfredd1393 he means 'when i'm without you, i just want to die'

  • awsome video!

  • ahhh I love this song!

  • dude is for real...

  • completely awe inspiring :) ryan has been a favorite of mine since rock n roll and i have since bought every one of his albums he has released...even the ol' whiskeytown days! • he's so good. yo. infinity blues, his book of sad poetry is SO SAD! it's all about drugs and breakups and stuff. seriously if you're into that kind of thing it's real good

  • I just want to die without you. Goddamn this makes me cry every time.

  • type in ryan adams/concerto for some more amazing live music,

  • I wonder if the harmonica was in the wrong key cuz there was just like one quick little swipe at it lol

  • ya it was lol, thats why he stopped and just kept on with the guitar!!!

  • @Klemons12 haha yeah i think it was in the right key but not in tune with his guitar. he knew right away, was like 'oh shit' and just did some guitar shit. strong recovery

  • Wow, I'm really glad to have heard this. I've never heard this version with that guitar work on the end. Brilliant.

  • amazing song

  • What really can be said about this song... Nothing, it just grabs you, and doesn't let go

  • When I'm sad listening to Ryan's sad stuff makes me feel better. Every time.

  • Absolutely superb....top quality. Realised he had the wrong key of harmonica and just carried on with the guitar. Beautiful....check out my version too!!!

  • lovely and sad. call me on your way back home.

  • amazing...Ryan Adams is a REAL artist...he doesnt just pluck strings and sing into a empty mic for a buck...he actually has true emotion and you can feel it and it moves you...every song...his songs arent just a cool beat layed over random lyrics with a few good lines...

  • Solid. good stuff, good stuff.

  • God I love him, his low E-string wasn't completely covered by the capo, you can hear it thump at the beginning, you'd only notice when he plays that string open -- the entire thing is just moving nonetheless who cares. he was top form on all the the other recordings he must have been a little under to let that slip. he's just good anyway.

  • ...palm mute

  • hey tdubbs, thanks for letting me post a vid response. thats cool. this is a great version! i like the new album.
