@MrChubs209 Go for it, its all about confidence, having time and patience to me its no difference but the fact that MG kits are larger and more detailed to build especially having more parts then HG and SD but as long you follow the manual its worth it when finished

I just completed the EW Wing, and not only was it fun to build, but it just felt practical. The Gatling shoulders and the energy packs made perfect sense. I hope you get it.

Thank you for showing us the kit! I'm not very good at assembling Gundam models so I ended up just buying the plastic snap-together ones, haha. I hope one day I get good enough to assemble all the figures from Gundam Wing though. Their designs are really unique and I hope to collect all of them eventually. =)

Katoki designed -this version- of the Epyon, the one that appears in the Endless Waltz manga and in MG form, just as he redesigned the other Gundams for Endless Waltz.

This is not the Epyon from the TV show (which had just one season) - as with the other Endless Waltz Gundams it's supposed to be the same machine, but it's a different design, a different representation of it.

EW didn't even have Epyon, but Tallgeese III.

However, they are making manga and novel stories, with "Endless Waltz" in the title. Those stories include this version of the Epyon. This is why the box says "Endless Waltz". It's also why other MG Wing kits have been labeled as "Endless Waltz" versions even if they didn't appear in the EW anime.

The MG Epyon is not the same design as the TV version. It's been redesigned. By Katoki. For EW side-stories.

@shadowblack1987 Well for starters, you -can- see a difference, right? Most people seem to prefer the look of the MG over the look of the HG. This was no accident, and it's not because they didn't know how to make model kits way back in 1996. It's the result of conscious choices by the respective designers. That giant chest on the HG? That's a signature piece of Okawara design right there.

The more overt changes to the design are mostly in the size and shape of the chest, shoulders, and wings.

I know the difference between a MG and a NH 1/100, same as i know the difference between a P51 C&D, since i have made all of those and then some.

My point still stands, that MG looks like the TV version and the 1/100 from back in my childhood.

Added details, sure... it's a modernized MG version.

My point was that it seems like people can spot the difference between the HG and MG pretty easily. They say the MG looks "better" or something, if they're not prepared to elaborate. If they're the same, why does one look "better" than the other? Because they're not: the MG has been redesigned by Katoki. (hence all the "Katoki" talk in the video.)
