  • Loved it!

  • HAHAH XD So true!! Judy was amazing.... Liza, well, she inherited a single amazing note of her mothers and made a career of it XD

    Tooo funny!!! :)

  • i did thiis in a show (:

    it was so fun.

  • Great job with the photos, but you chose the wrong Kismet photo. That's the 1940s version, not Minnelli's Howard Keel- Delores Gray version.

  • Christine Pedi ist the BEST! :D

  • OMG her voice is dead ..DEAD ON! when she's speaking! wow I lov ethe uhs :)

  • Not my fave Forbidden Broadway, (don't yell YET), she gets her voices all mixed up!

This is obviously the woman that also does Judy Garland and Julie Andrews at least. There are MAJOR glimpses of both.

Usually they're really good about keeping them clean.

This one just got a bit sloppy.

    She's STILL amazing!

  • hilarious. LMAO

  • Oh this is sooo true. XD

  • Is this a parody of a song or Forbidden Broadway's original?

  • @Mariah1250 I believe it's both. The melody is "Johnny One Note" a 1937 show tune from the 1937 Rodgers and Hart musical Babes in Arms, where it was introduced by Wynn Murrary. Judy Garland sang it in the film version,

Forbidden Liza One-Note is a FB original.

  • "She played Dorothy in a Star is Born"

    haha love it

  • I LOVE when she speaks in the song! I laugh so hard. Christine Pedi is amazing.

  • I DONT THINK THIS IS THE VOICE OF LIZA,

  • it isn't - it's from Forbidden Broadway

  • @acctrat no. no it's not. My suggestion would be to read the description of the video. Forbidden Broadway is people impersonating Broadway stars.

  • @acctrat - what gave it away?

  • Lol, she played Dorothy in A Star is Born! This is HILARIOUS.

  • Fun- still: Liza is a Certified Treasure. That's why others can Do her-That's why they Do her-

-and Liza, keep on. I Love You.

Much Love, Much Singing, and Much JOY to YOU!

    Bryan-SanAntonio

  • LOL!!! My mom's in this musical!! :)

  • This is so funny! Sounds surprisingly like Liza, especially when she speaks. Very clever. Forbidden Broadway rocks :)

  • Liza Minelli is the best singer that has ever, well, sang. I think that she is a amazing singer. GO LIZA! I loved u in Aurthur too!

  • true dat but let's not forget about her mama, Judy Garland. She played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Isn't that terrific! HAHAHAHA

  • This is hilarious. "Liza One Note"...so true. "When I start singing, your ears will start ringing IN PAAAAIN!" Also true.

  • haha this is GREAT

  • She is so good as her! Love it!

I adore Liza, and she would def. love this!

  • I think even Liza would laugh at this.

  • Fucking hilarious!!!!!

  • This is SO accurate.

  • it's good. i love liza, but this is good.

  • I love the recap of her family as Liza dose. (As if we don't know!) Funny Stuff!

  • i have been listenign to this all day

  • I saw Christine Pedi do this number before the CD was released (although the earlier version was out) and I remember nearly dying of laughter at both "only I did it better" and "she played Dorothy in A Star is Born." This never gets old. Thanks for reminding me!

  • Did you notice that the greatest Forbidden Broadway songs are parodies of the greatest classics? I mean, Rodgers and Hart (this one), Lerner and Loewe (Import-Gavotte), Cole Porter (Patti LuPone, I Love Patti, ...), Irving Berlin (the various Ethel Merman parodies) and Sondheim (Into The Words, Teeny Todd) - you can be great like Alessandrini certainly is, but you need good material to begin with.

  • my god this woman is incredible!!! hahaha too funny

  • this made me like fall out of my chair!

    it was so funny!

    I love Liza Minelli!

  • Nicely put x

  • I'm just getting in to Broadway (taking the long route through Jazz via a Goth phase), and this is cracking me up! THANK YOU!!

  • I LOVE LIZA MINELLI!!!

    This video was HEE-larious!

    I loved that laugh!

  • This is my ABSOLUTE favorite song from Forbidden Broadway........

    god i love LIZA

  • i played this and my mum walked in and she actually thought this was liza minelli lol

  • you got way too much time on your hands.

  • LMAO! This is hilarious! It's all so true. Liza her vibrato and one note, lmao. This actress is SOO talented and slightly better than Liza *looks around and ducks for cover*.

  • mmmmm, happyactor, "no yoo di-ent", yah, ya did, ya went there!! :)

this song is such a riot!! you should check out the other Forbidden Broadway numbers, too!

  • And yes, john, I meant it.... xoxo! kisses!

  • Hey johnmana, do you need to have your account shut down for the fourth time? Knock it off, dude. Find another place to play your childish games, and leave the satire to adults. Gotta admit though, I do love your spunk!! Bet you are quite a guy! ;) xoxo

  • Thank You, Terry! Its just that I opened my inbox, and there's this 13 year old boy going off on me. Also, I apologise that this happened in your forum.

    xoxo Corby

  • WAIT! I love Liza, and that is why I made this slide show. If Liza wasn't a top Diva...well then why bother? I'm sure it's safe to say that Forbidden Broadway's Liza One-Note is more complementary than offensive.

  • I think you are correct,

    LOVE to ya'!

  • johnmana97: Furthermore, I will not carry this on with you in Iamwatiz' forum. It is dis-respectful to her, and if you find the video so offensive, then look at any of the other 1000's of videos at this site.

  • For johnmana97: Liza was mis-quoted, a fact that she covered in a New York magazine interview. And since you are only 13 years old, there is much about the world of entertainers, actors, actresses... that you do not know. Forbidden Broadway is an honor. Also, until you have a little more life experience, don't dis-respect those of us that have gone before you. At 13 you know nothing of impersonation, maturity, or any of the other words that you misspelled.

  • STFU! I am mature, I f I wasn't I wouldn't be UPLOADING JUDY AND LIZA VIDEOS! And plus, I've Never gotten a DETENTION IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Because I behave in school, and I behave more mature than most kids my age. So you don't know who I really am, and Until you do shut up.

  • Hey johnmana!! I happen to be a Liza impersaonator, and a friend of hers. She actually was laughing hysterically on the phone as she watched this! SO GROW UP!!!

  • YEAH RIGHT! PROOVE IT!

  • Liza has said on past interviews he hates impersonators. And plus, why would she laugh at somebody making fin of her. Have you watched the etras of Liza with a z?! I happen to be a huge fan of Liza, and uhh, telling me to grow up. Anybody who would impersonation is in-mature, and and insecure.

PROVE TO ME, YOUR A FAN OF LIZA'S

  • i think liza sees the funny side of most things this is a funny tribute to the lady i bet she laughed her sox of watching this

  • this is so offensive

  • 'djuno who my mother was? my mother was judy garland, she played dawrothy in the wizard of oz, isnt that fantastic?' hahahahaha!!!!

  • I am a huge fan of Liza and Judy and I can't breath right now. I am laughing soo hard

  • Hilarious! I have Christine Pedi singing it on cd and its cool to see it with the pictures. :-)

  • Hilarious! It's so dead on, it's scay! Big laughs abound...

  • i dont know if anyone here watched canadian idol last summer, but steffi didomenticantonio looks EXACTLY like liza in 1:27. it's really weird

  • this is brilliant, I'm such a Liza fan and this is just fabulous :-) The impression is dead-on.

  • Absolutely amazing!! I laughed my ass off, have you any more??

  • This is fab! Thanks for posting. Love that Liza.(and Ms. Pedi)

  • Great montage and I've always loved the Forbidden Broadway material. Oh! One thing....the photo that follows the still of Gene Kelly (and is repeated later in color) is NOT Liza Minnelli. I don't remember her name but she's a Liza impersonator. Just thought you should know. Thanks again!!!

  • Oops! Thanks robjwtrs1970. wow, she's good! Thank you for letting me know. Good eye you. *smile*

  • Is that really your voice? Please tell me. That's unbelievable!

    "Is it 10 Days??" Ha!

  • It would be great honor to have the talent of the woman that does the voice of Liza. Not to mention a lot of fun too. Liza One-Note is from Forbidden Broadway, and the voice is Christine Pedi. Isn't she great? I'm glad you enjoyed it...*smile*

  • Fabulous! This is hilarious! I loved it! Great job!
