Dat over dat diskwalificeren is onzin, dat komt gewoon omdat Hari een ernstig agressieprobleem heeft, maar omkoping rond Hari's zoveelste misdrijf is wel plausibel.

to be honest, semmy seems to be such a slow fighter, but tho he ko's his opponents and rips them apart, i think he somehow managed to develop a very good fighting technique, seemingly to use his knees and sometimes his fists. watch the slomo at 4:00, now that will hurt tho it seems he didn't hit him too hard.

I think it was a nice fight from 2 dutch k1 fighters.

@eHagdorn If you're tall, the leverage effect amplifies your strength. It's a complicated physics story, but summarizing: with the same amount of muscle, a longer arm can produce a harder punch.

What Schilt did basically is turning reach advantage based fighting into an artform. He dictates the distance with masterfull skill. They're either just in his reach, or in the clinch with him, and with both those positions, there's almost no defeating Schilt.

If you were as big as he is, any sensei, teacher or whatever would tell and teach you to take full advantage of your skills. And does it pretty good. However, if you wanna see him getting his ass kicked, check out his fight against Fedor Emelianenko... lol

remy, hari and aerts are the best normal sized human fighters. dinosaurs like schilt wont nearly be as successful if he was their size. this is why k1 MAX is a more fairly matched tournament as there is a weight limit.

Bonjasky has a ton of skill. Merely managing to stay alive with such an open basic stance. Schilt however is more skilled. This fight was the best of the tournament as a result of that.

Although... watching Hari's big mouth get shut by Schilt now that Hari was out of lucky punch KO's after two fights, was perhaps even more entertaining.

I think Badr and Remy both looses against their self, because both started to engergic and looses to much power while try to strike. they punched without thinking and Semmy with his long arms had no problems to block them. BADR and REMY for me the best!!! ps Remy only said they had easyer fights in the 1st round because they havent go trough 3 rounds, not because the opponent was less good.

Too bad Bonjasky got injured and fatigued in his 3 rounds x 3 minutes (total 9 minutes) fight with Zimmerman.

Schilt took like almost zero damage in his 1.27 minute fight with LeBanner.

Remy was extremely fatigued and injured like hell, otherwise it would be an intire different fight.
