  • Great job.

  • Cool looking helmet. . . won't protect your face. Great looking jacket. . . will slice your neck as you slide along the road. Could you reconsider some safer gear? At least a safer jacket?

  • @zapwatt Mom? Is that you?

  • @stevenmichaelis

Nah, I'm not your mom, I'm just another guy shopping for insurance because the rates go up & up & up every time some guy needs skin grafts.

  • @zapwatt Since helmets like these only endanger the user's own life, I don't like it if people comment on it. I love to wear helmets like these because they offer great visibility, so in a way it's safer for me to wear a retro helmet.

  • @iRenaatsouvagie You don't have to like my comment. I didn't comment to please you. And like I said before; my comment has everything to do with our insurance rates going up up up up every year. Every time some guy needs skin grafts, my insurance rates go up.

  • All the posers want a Cafe Racer, they're "great little scooters"

  • Great little scooter?

  • T350, my first M/C in 1979. Painted it "deep as a pool of" black with krylon spray can, replaced the broken instuments with a JC whitney chrome speedo and I was 17 and good to go. Peaky 2 stroke would tail stand if you revved but had no torque. 2 weeks later, young Evel Knieval I was, passing an RV on a blind curve hit gravel and laid it down doing better than 50. Helmet on? Check. and Tshirt, no gloves and sneakers. Hands were so tore up I couldn't masterbate for a month. At 17, just brutal.

  • @batvette classic tale... i learned my riding gear lesson after blasting a deer with my gs 1100. helmet? check also, along with orange and paisley shirt( i was going out after all) and jeans. over the handlebars and through the pavement resulted in two badly roadrashed elbows a gashed knee. Painful? yes, but not painful enough to prevent me from being pissed.

  • @geepbee hope you at least got to drag the deer home for some venison jerky.... a buddy of mine in the Navy back around '83 had a GS1100, it was a cruiser but he'd put better suspension bits on it, drag bars, a pipe an moved the conrols back. He deployed and I "watched" his bike most of a summer till he returned. Watched it go quite a few miles actually.

  • @batvette no such luck. When the deer came into view, he was at the side of the road about to cross. i braked hard, he went and i tried to steer around him, but clipped his back legs. when i finished sliding i heard him in the woods. bastard

  • Nice bike.

  • Brilliant bike to cafe , Almost see the power band kick in there , Great build

  • That's a great looking 'bike you built there - really captures the classic cafe look of the time (maybe excepting the twin lights!). Fantastic.

  • a few more checkers and youll really hit the ton bro!

  • No self respecting rocker would call their ride a "Great little SCOOTER." What are you a mod?

  • Maximuum Respect Bro ! Lamps from my Thruxton '07, and greetings from Italy !!! "V" Rock'n'Roll !

  • Good wheelie machine.

  • awesome bike, would sound real good with expansion chambers too.

  • The Speedo is from a 1968 Suzuki X6. Good luck finding one.

  • Looks and sounds great, and I love the Davida style crash helmet.

  • Love it. You've done a great job here. I used to have the G.T. 250 ram air. They realy do accelerate well 5*

  • Is that a 2-stroke? Sure does sound like it. I bet it's pretty fast for a 350.

  • Awesome job on that bike, man. I love the color!

  • like the bike but i'm afraid i'm not a big double-headlight fan...

  • Get a pair of boxs on it and let her sing.........

  • Funky scoot! I don't usually like the double headlight setup, but it works very well on this bike!

  • well built, love the skid lid

  • Thats a sweet little bike, I've got an original t250j hustler 1972 model. Its my first bike and I'm lovin it, oh man if you shift it just right it will leave bigger bikes in the dust! Very nice cafe racer!

  • cool is it a 2 stroke?

  • That's very nice, see you at the Ace Cafe; off the North Circular, London.
