  • If you can, do yourselves a favour, and watch this video on hi-def full screen, with your headphones on, and the volume turned up to 11.

    V = 10

    A = 10

This piece is -stunning- at 720p!

@Iranweed Do you know where this was filmed? I want to go snorkeling there, wherever it is.

  • i seriously trip out hard when im high and listening to this song

  • This song would be a perfect soundtrack for the Dark Tower by Stephan King, at the end of his journey, but is it really the end? Or just...a new beginning! Great Song from DG (BTW, DT movie trilogy to be directed by Ron Howard)

  • @theplotbunny1 This, and Behind Blue Eyes by the Who

  • listen to fingals cave. (scottish isle of staffa) then google it........hence pink floyd -echoes.toke on my friends.

  • That mass of sea snakes is horrifying

  • 6 people couldn't find a way out of here

  • thers no way for a fish to leave the ocean

  • so intimate and heavy. gilmour is like a musical beef stew sometimes

  • I heard this at work today, I always thought it was PF but this guy I worked with told me it was David Gilmore, he just opened a whole new window for me. This song is amazing.

  • So beautiful I could cry...I know I commented twice :D

  • I am a major major fan of Floyd, but I never listened to the solos of Roger or David, but this song is amazing. Whats the name of the Album this came from?

  • @aaron2418

    His Self-titled album from 1978 I believe

  • MAESTRO!!

  • Brilliant (: we are that LOVE in a negative enviornment!

  • Best David Gilmour solo album of all time. Thanks for posting!

  • 3:05- your moms vagina!

  • @songey101 LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • I'm afraid it's Lady Gaga and Beyonce that the majority of the public want to hear now The past decades when people listened to and bought decent music have become a distant memory. Even the once great Glastonbury festival is largely littered with crappy headliner acts.

  • i listened to this song when i was on the bus to jail... 10 years later and i'm a better man than ever. I think i have to thank Dave Gilmour for that. this song got me trough alot of rough times.

  • Love this song, although it's kinda depressing.

  • Maybe today some really music is made but who listen to it? Who cares? I mean, some years ago when Pink Floyd / Dire Straits / The Beatles etc played music and gigs everybody listened and loved them. Why? Because they did what they really love and made really gorgeous music. Now even if some artsist play very well no one seems to give them hand and promote them. And no one listen to them, people today mostly listen shitty musc :/ When they hear really good things they just say thats shit WTF

  • Heard this on Q107 today in Toronto. Been listening to it on youtube since then. Amazing track !

  • @DClean lol, Q107 brought me here too, :)

  • I listen to this song evry time I'm stoned. Its so relaxing B)

  • why can't today's music be this fucking good. back then we had zepplin, pink floyd, nazereth, ect. nowadays we have fucking justin bebier and lady gaga what the fuck. UNFAIR lol

  • @johnlennonfanful I don't think you are looking for music in right places then... There is still amazing music being made you just have to search. Omar Rodriguez and John Frusciante never seem to disappoint with new music.

  • wasn't the name of this album "on the outside looking in"?

  • @m1kewithaone it's from his album "David Gilmour"

  • @707dude707 ohhhh thanks, i used to have it, but that was a long, long, long, long, ....... time ago.. : )

  • Why the fuck does Dirty Bit come up as a suggestion????

  • Nice visuals . . . Excellent song!! . . .

  • Spotty Pink Horses Live in The Sea.. No Way. 0)

  • Csodálatos zene!

  • the ocean owns 8)

  • David Gilmour has the smoothest voice in rock and seahorses are weird creatures.

  • @skunkape2 Where did that come from?

  • @slpplexi1969 Didn't you see the seahorses in the video? They match the coral so maybe you didn't see them.

  • @skunkape2 I saw them right after I posted that. I thought I deleted that comment.

  • This Song Sounds Like a Baby Being Born. Nice And Easy With Just a Little Kick. ;)

  • There is great debate as to the greatest guitartist of all time. Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen...But my mind is made up with Dave Gilmour. Nobody hits the coords as clearly, and makes the guitar speak to me as Dave does. Just my opinion...

  • Oh yes pure gunious

  • David gilmour. my favorite guitarist. i was about 11 when i liked his music

  • @ThePinkguns FZ is mine , but gilmour is good too !!!

  • I never get tired of floyd

  • This album rules

  • Molly+this song= great !

  • Chew on this old treasure!!

  • Kick ass...... Its all good !!!

  • Kick ass...... Its all good

  • @BiggTRexx - no, a jackass is a person that tries to call someone else's taste in music wrong. People like different things and tolerance is MUCH better than hatred...I love this song, David and Floyd. I've seen them 11 times dating back to the early 70's.

  • @21313334 cool story, bro...no really...cool story...

  • Great song

  • This is how I felt about Lost. "And never was there an answer, an answer."

  • lord of the strings .... bow

what a man .. musician .. a fucking force to reckon with !!

  • Thank you for this vid, needed it this morning, just to remind me~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

David Gilmour is GOOD FOR THE SOUL!

  • this is just way to good. THE most underrated musician ever.

  • @okrabay I wouldnt say most underrated but i mean he does deserve much more credit

  • @ceasersxxxprotege I suppose credit is do for his version, however this is not his song(which i honestly just found out today). The original writers of the song belongs to a band called Unicorn. (which is a very good version itself, but honestly not as good as Gilmour.)

  • absolutely great! Thank you so much for posting.

  • BELLO!!!

  • Love the song, but this video doesn't fit the theme of the song. Gilmour is singing about the consequences of bad decisions, namely they can literally cost you everything. Again, though, great song by the mighty David Gilmour.

  • @timepoet77 this song was actually composed by Ken Baker but obviously Gilmour works his magic yet again

  • truly amazing song and video.

  • I've love this song for a very long time....will never grow old, mulitpattyc

  • I've love this song for a very long time....will never grow old, mulitpattyc

  • Beautiful pictures, incredibly fascinating, wonderful and touching song, perfect film work.

Thank you for the great video.

Thumbs up and all stars. I wish you a nice successful week filled with much love, joy and happiness.

    Warm greetings from Austria, Ingrid

  • Earth must be the real "Noah's Arch for universe..Just look, we have no idea how many awesome things live in the waters.

  • the 2006 remaster has a longer fadeout at 5:24, you should make another fish video with it!!!!

  • There has never been so good, watching fishes swim...

They have to make all documentaries with this kind of music ^_^

  • BRILLIANT!

  • Totally F@cked up my all time favorite Gilmour song. My acid song. You suck

  • All this creatures are in for good!! :)

  • awsome song what album is this of off

  • @musicman257 "David Gilmour" Album 1978

  • this is the most amazing song i have ever heard in my life

  • @MILTOWNSBEST11 You need to hear it without the bullshit at the end. And you're right it is the most amazing song ever.

  • awesome video and music. Love coral reefs and David Gilmour's music. win win!

  • 3:13 looks like a scene from The Wall.

  • David Gilmour's best solo song, in my opinion.

  • I feel as if his guitar is crying in the song, especially at the start. It seems I'm extra touched by sadness during exams...

  • @Varsar Maybe I'm just retarded, but I always thought that was a harmonica at the start. Representing him being locked up. (Like in those old movies where there's some loner in a cell playing the harmonica)

  • @KyleSurette13

Awesome, I never linked it to the possible sound of a harmonica. Mind = blown. Still I'm mostly absolutely positive it's a guitar, you should watch a live video, on one I see a saxophone but it's always Gilmour playing the sologuitar on those parts

  • im 22 years old... ive been listening to floyd/gilmour since i was born.... dad got me hooked... still listen to them to this day... pure genious

  • ty babe

  • On a side note, sea horsies :)

  • i cant even listen to this track its so special...its like i have to save it for the perfect moment

  • +2 unreal

  • 1 person.. is a jackass...

  • @BiggTRexx There are two of them already. They might have grown up without a mother to teach them good things like this.

  • @BiggTRexx "1person.. is a jackass"

Yeah, you for actually caring about the like and dislike button faggot

  • @BiggTRexx 2

  • @BiggTRexx Make that 2 jackasses!

  • @BiggTRexx There are two people who deserved death

  • @BiggTRexx Make that 4.

  • @BiggTRexx... yep, its the guy who feels the need to denigrate someone for the sole reason they do not agree with you

  • Spectacular vid Iranweed, truly worthy of David's awesome tune

  • This is AWESOME!!! Pure genious!!!

  • @mikemcpeak714 it's david gilmour! .... david gilmour everybody!!! : )

  • beautiful

  • Very well played, thanks for sending.

    Nice video,congratulations!

  • the background vocals at the end sound like kate bush...is it?

  • This Video is one of the Best video.s I've seen! Period! David Gilmour Is The Man!

  • @t69gto Yeah, not only the man, but so much of PF.. and of course R.Waters.. He and A.Latimer(Camel) has much in common.. Pure feelin' of how to express yourself in the guitar.. and that differs, not due to style but How do you play/feel/express it in guitar-playing.. By Heart!!
  • beautiful! The footage really worked with the music somehow. Thanks for posting!

  • Really great, esp. good therapy when dealing w/lots of BS in the world! Thanks for posting and for the creative video. We all got to find our own way out... but we can't get out unless we can rise above it in our own way and help those also find their way... hopefully positive in the end but it does take effort.

  • sorry for the language...but...this is fanFUCKINGtastic!!!

  • I'm probably the only guy who ever caught it, but in the 80's, before Delicate Sound of Thunder, Gilmour had a special concert featured on MTV. It was BOSS. I mean, it was MONSTER good music. It showed, without question, that Gilmour could have gone on to be a legend in the REAL music world. I'm talking, top of the stack Austin City Limits type. But, he chose the money route, did NOT follow his true spirit, and his stuff ever since has been pure mediocrity.

  • What you hear here is the true David Gilmour, being true to himself musically. The fact is, he was born to rock. He was not born for this On an Island crap, as much as his fans would like to think so. I'm sure he's convinced himself as well. You want real Gilmour in Floyd? Listen to stuff like Any Colour You Like, Have a Cigar, Young Lust, or go back a long ways to the Nile Song. These are Gilmour at his very best with Floyd. Even Comfortably Numb Solo is studio contrived melodramatic crp

  • @brautigan1 I disagree, first off this is not even a gilmour song it is a cover of a band called unicorn. have a cigar and nile song were written by roger waters and young lust was a collaboration between roger waters and david gilmour. listen to division bell and momentary lapse of reason that is some of the most mellon collie floyd there is.

  • @mitchyjamie you do know that gilmour produced unicorn right?

  • @smackie0522 He may have produced them but "No way out of here" was written before any input by Gilmour, there is an interview on you tube where David Gilmour talks about hearing this song at a friends wedding and thought they were great and that is why he decided to produce them. and the answer to your question is yes i did know that he produced "too many crooks"

  • @smackie0522 I should have included a :) after reading my post i sound like an arrogant prick sorry :(

  • @mitchyjamie lol thats ok i just didn't know if you were aware of is involvement with them ; )

  • Simple, totally erotic and to the point.

  • Man I love this guy !!! Long Live Pink Floyd the worlds greatest rock band

  • That was the perfect video for that song.

  • very strange combination, I have to say...but it kinda works, I mean, I certainly WOULD NOT mind chilling down there listening to that song over and over...with my scuba gear of course :)

  • Very cool video and song. Love the eels and sea horses.

  • Comment removed

  • I got a chromis fish too and clownish

  • I love the song. I liked the video, although some parts (like at 1:30 to 1:56) kinda creeped me out. Don't know why. Still good job though.

  • COOL!

  • This is probably one of the best vids i have ever seen.

  • Amazing song

  • Gilmour forever!!!

  • crimanlal that there are only 5900 hits on this. Gilmour is a genius.

  • @fukutubesuxx the album i have is " David Gilmour " just his name so look it up its bad ass i had to special order it at my local music shop but its worth it love knowing all u people listen to good music
