i remember having this song on vinyl. it would have been 1979 so i was 5 years old. i found it so so sad. it made me cry and cry. i remember my mum asking me why i was so upset but i couldn't tell her it was because of the song. even years later it still has a sadness about it.

I named my dog after her. Unfortunately she got put down earlier this year. I now have a new dog, called Dougal. He even looks like Dougal, but he is white. I am 15, but remember watching this when I was little along with the old series.

I used to get nightmares from this movie... I still have the video tape lyign around somewhere. This song made me cry when I was a wee boy.. God only knows why nowadays lol!
