@BenW1991NE Well, in a gunfight when bullets are whizzing past your head, even if you can't fully see where the enemy is you have to lay down a constant line of fire on them, or in their direction at least, this puts pressure on them so they won't shoot at you very much, or very accurately at the least. Because not very many people want to pop up their head for very long with a wall of lead coming at them, whether it's directed at them or not.

@AccordGTR Taliban did have parts related to the 9/11 events. AQAF (al qeada afghanistan) and the Taliban are essentially similar and operate on same level principles. They share intel and training. They were centralized in AF, where radicals from all over the muslim world flocked to follow extremist views and training camps. There have been numerous documents with hard evidence to this. U.S. never entered AF but only supplied these "freedom fighters" against Russia around '79

@tmoroney1 Actually the US Military is one of the worst armies (my opinion) . The only wars they won rightly were Grenada in the 1980's and Panama in 1990's , wich were nations without any formal army at the time. They joined both World Wars very late into the conflict, WWI and WII in 1917 and 1944 respectively. Also they have been at war with inexperienced guerilla terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan for the last decade or so,and have still not won. They lost Korea and Vietnam.

Many of our missions were taking us into bomb training facilities. We found bomb sniffing devices to see what would set off alarms or warn dogs. Or the metal detectors that were Fed-Exed to them that most of our airports currently have in use, just to see what would go off. Unless you intend to guard our borders yourself, shut up.
