KO has great parrying and spacing, glad to see a good Yang in a game dominated by mediocre Yun players. Always enjoy seeing lower tier characters being played well, much more interesting.
He may have used the same bread butter move over and over but Mago kept putting himself in the same position and not adapting properly.
mago has been playing third strike he just went to sf4 just like all the other fags because obviously they saw that they couldnt improve in sf3 soo "lets go to the easier one" aka sf4 :D
@nightmarebooster Well, I agree that SF4 seems easier. I played 3S and I honestly think it's REALLY hard. Not for beginners. That's why they made SF4 as a user-friendly game that doesn't own everyone. That's why more people play it now. :)
It takes a little bit of 3rd Strike experience to notice all of the intricate micromanagement that goes into play like this... the so called "1 move" by itself is by no means a way of winning...there is a definite reason why KO is one of the top players in the entire world.
I own the game and have played it for a while, your opinion is yours and yours alone. i'm just saying him spamming the same EX move over and over is the exact same as a hadoken spammer in SP3. a one trick pony is not impressive.
ARival's opinion is not his "alone" it's shared by everyone who knows anything about fighting games in general. Azure, not trying to be mean, but your opinion on a "one trick pony" and on use of yang's ex mantis slashes not only shows your inexperience when it comes to yang but on competitive fighting games period.
Azure in whatever way you put it...what other combos could yang do?...yang isnt as versatile a character as ken (he has a LOT of other moves to combo with than hadouken)....there is a whole strategy behind using your so called "one trick pony" for yang...watch japanese yang players and youll probrably figure it out
Well, maybe I guess it is a secondary aspect of it. If I were lucky to play against the top players in Japan, I would just try to not get owned lol...at least whenever people play, they should just try to win (if they want to improve) and not worry about whether their opponent likes their style or not, I think people should be worried about winning more than trying to impress people
@samirhossain See, I don't see how one can win and improve through that. You improve in order to win. In order to improve you have to lose, at least that's how I see it. I don't see what there is to gain in winning besides bragging rights and the pot if that's what is at stake. Winning just validates what you're already doing and allows to relax, it's when you lose against someone better than you, that you realize just how much you have to improve in a certain area. Hope that makes some sense.
@magdefibrilator Its the approach and mentality that I am talking about. I agree that losing will help one to see in what aspects of the game that one should work on, yes that is definitely one way of improving. It is the motive for one to play. I think it would be easier for someone to improve if they just aim to just win, forget about flashy combos and others stuff to impress ppl. Playing to win and creating a habit through that I think it will definitely help someone improve at a faster rate.
lol?, calling KO one trick pony.......you have no idea how ridiculously wrong u are. you don't become one of the best 3s players in the world being a one trick pony
The so called 2d god just got His ass punished lol.

@aquaticaxle Yang isn't low tier at all
Psychob0t 7 months ago
@Psychob0t
True, 6th isn't that low of a tier. Just that there are so many replays of the top three tier characters and not so many for anything besides them.
Personally I really like players like Pierrot, Yamazaki and Sugiyama.

well at least we know he knows that 1 move... its would be nice to see him not do the same thing over and over, but that goes for both of them.
