  • you wouldn't get the bloody foot nowadays. plus, why the hell does the Hood need to wear a mask when nobody is going to see him? Ahhh, whatever...

  • America FUCK YEAH!!

  • Those yellow rescue helicopters are great!

  • I just find it funny that they made all this fuss over a mere mission to mars... but I recall Thunderbird 3 made it half way to the sun to rescue Sun Probe (which, incidentally made it all the way to the sun).

    What gives?

  • 9:15 is it just me or is that Commander Norman to the left?

  • 1:14 What?

  • Always been a fan

  • Fab stands for fabulous

  • Cool as hell !

  • "I have 862 pages here, sir that say just that!" ... BURN!!!

  • @Linkopodi One of the best one-liners EVER!

  • what is FAB?

  • @poncaguy61 Achronim for 'fabulous'.

  • @poncaguy61 - Noboby really knows what F.A.B. actually stands for. Someone once suggested "Frequency Acknowledge Broadcast", but I heard somewhere that Gerry Anderson just liked the sound of "F.A.B."

  • Gottaa love Gerry Anderson exploosions! And yeah I thiink the Hood completely deserves whaat he got!

  • "THIS IS CENTRAL CONTROL." x10000.

  • @SoylentCyan WIN :D

  • In the 1:38 :The rear landing gear cross a gap ...!

  • mean helicopters :D

  • Love the computer graphics in Central Control plotting it's crash course

  • @ewaf88 Computer graphics? This was made in 1966.

  • @Naylte The first computer graphic displays were around in the 1950's and of course featured in 2001 a Space Odessey (1968). I don't mean CGI but just simple displays. Look up Sketchpad developed in 1961 by Ivan Sutherland. You could manipulate images. We weren't living in caves back in the 1960's and even had one of the first Computer games (Space Wars).

  • @ewaf88 Ah. I thought it was like the graphics in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV series, which were done with a sort of backlighting technique.

  • @Naylte Well there's all typesof graphics - goodness knows where we'll be in 30 years time.

  • I can't help but feel the Hood's pain.....

  • Lady Penelope is sooooo sexy I want her body.... the puppet that is.

  • Another great aspect of the show and this movie was the music. I like the extra bit that they created for the start of this clip; you can tell they really wanted to make this movie a cinematic experience.

  • thank you so very much Equnai for sharing all of this thunderbirds magic with us all.i am such a fan of all of Gerry's work and i think thunderbirds was the best.I can remember growing up and watching it on tv and i was hooked.now that i am nearly 28 i still love it because it was such magic.thank you again for sharing it with us.

  • I love the scenes at 3.09 when " the Hood " gets his foot squashed / caught; and you see him in pain ( the look on his face; etc ). It's nice to see him suffer physically for a change. Regards.

  • @Splitskirts so do i.he was the baddy in thunderbirds and i had no time for him at all.

  • @ St0rmT0rnad0

they must have extremely strong jets and catatpults 2 launch them with such a small runway!!!!

  • Love the air sea rescue jet launch station :)

  • 2004 thunderbirds was terrible, the ones with puppets were ok, but nothing beats the tv show

  • @05marshalljw yeah it was pretty stupid looking too, especially T2 looked ugly and too short there

  • @05marshalljw it was awesome you idiot

  • Excellent movie and music. That ship looked to big to lift off.

  • i agree the 2004 thunderbirds movie was good but it totally murdered the 1960's show.

  • it never murdered it, you just cant change the original make up of the show and films. i just think it never even happened :P

  • One would have thought the Hood would have more sense than to put his foot in the way of a hydraulic ram.

  • I love the totally brilliant, ridiculous and outrageous aircraft design in this.

  • firefly was beautiful designed but this ?

  • @Budhabe I agree. You know, I think the design team for Concorde might have copied it :)

  • @Budhabe @ChayotAiKadesh - I hope you're not dissing the Zero-X. That would have to have been Derek Meddings' greatest design for the Anderson shows.

  • When The Hood's foot got crushed in that piston (or whatever it is), it reminded me of the opening scene in Saw V.

  • Never really liked this, movie. not enought Thunderbirds, it didn't start on Tracy island or anything, but i love the T.V series, the only movies that were good were the Thunderbird 6 & the 2004 Thunderbirds films!

  • good quality man =]
