I just find it funny that they made all this fuss over a mere mission to mars... but I recall Thunderbird 3 made it half way to the sun to rescue Sun Probe (which, incidentally made it all the way to the sun).

@ewaf88 Computer graphics? This was made in 1966.

@Naylte The first computer graphic displays were around in the 1950's and of course featured in 2001 a Space Odessey (1968). I don't mean CGI but just simple displays. Look up Sketchpad developed in 1961 by Ivan Sutherland. You could manipulate images. We weren't living in caves back in the 1960's and even had one of the first Computer games (Space Wars).

thank you so very much Equnai for sharing all of this thunderbirds magic with us all.i am such a fan of all of Gerry's work and i think thunderbirds was the best.I can remember growing up and watching it on tv and i was hooked.now that i am nearly 28 i still love it because it was such magic.thank you again for sharing it with us.

I love the scenes at 3.09 when " the Hood " gets his foot squashed / caught; and you see him in pain ( the look on his face; etc ). It's nice to see him suffer physically for a change. Regards.

Never really liked this, movie. not enought Thunderbirds, it didn't start on Tracy island or anything, but i love the T.V series, the only movies that were good were the Thunderbird 6 & the 2004 Thunderbirds films!
