@lacsuka1 Tényleg nagy zene, mint John Mayall bármely száma általában, és a kor előrehaladtával nem hogy rosszabb, hanem egyre jobb albumokat ad ki. Coco Montoya egyik nagy ikonom, nagyon szeretem a játékát, azonban itt Buddy Whittington játszik, aki Montoya mellett másik nagy kedvencem a Bluesbrakersből. De még megemlíthetném Walter Trout-ot és még sokmindenkit. Üdv barátom!
@MrMpmovies - pleasure is mine, and I am glad I was able to find & share a little golden nugget. Indeed it makes the day go by a bit smoother. Peace... :-)
@tiborzkarate - The lineup on this is: Buddy Whittington, Tom Canning, Joe Yulee and Hank Van Sickle ..... and I think John Mayall on a track or two but I am not sure on that one ... :-). IMO, 'tis the best track of the whole album ... at least for my ears. Glad you liked it.
@manoftheworld1000 - I got the cd/album. Do you have the island ? You've got a deal if the answer is in the affirmative (Greece I suppose should offer some viable choices) !!! hee hee hee. Peace & tks for posting.
@penfloyd - one of the pioneers indeed. Helped pave the way which many traveled on, and together they created many great memories for millions of us, spanning generations. It is a shame, more of the hidden gems do not get their due and air-time, so more people can enjoy it. Tks for posting.
hi dont know yr name ear candyjar? did not see him at montreux which starts tomorrow see many others there we saw john at the parc des eaux-vives.. in geneve. just remember its about 2- 3 years ago his lead guitarist was so cool.... i just cant remember his name he was american.... kor jane
@janegva - my pleasure. I am glad you liked the tune. It is a(nother) gem. Did you see him @ the Montreux Fest? Wonderful country and not just geographically. Congrats & thanks for posting. Peace.
He's getting up there in age. This just might be your last chance. Get there early, stay late, and enjoy every moment. These are memories of a lifetime. Have a great time !!!! There are fewer and fewer of his kind, and the "Mist of Time" it is taking its toll. If you remember to, return and post your experience !!! 8?)
Man,i am from eastern europe and i think , John Mayall is the bigest white blues singer. When i listen ,,MISTS OF TIME,,i have crying like a child.....THANK YOU VERY MUCH JOHN ... GOD BLESS YOU.
Glad you like JM and this tune. If you wish to sample with some more jaw dropping Blues, Soul and otherwise some fine earcandy, feel free to check out my Favorites list, especially the earliest links, although the latest include many goodies. And by no means these are the only ones.
In particular give Humble Pie a try. This is the link: youtube[DOT]com/watch?v=LqsMKvkzdwc - just replace "[DOT] with ".".
man i saw mayall live in dublin ireland, last summer and it was the most phenomenal performance i have ever seen, i am 19, my favourite band is metallica, and i cried at that concert, and am not ashamed to admit it. true genius
Kudos for a gr8 taste in music. Post like yours should be mandatory reading for the idiots who demand removal of numerous uploads for fear of loosing precious pennies, the idiots failing to appreciate the exposure they get from/to new generations and thus potential stream of customers. How the hell do they expect people to buy their stuff if they have no clue it exists? As much music as I've listened to, and own, I still find great tunes of bands I've been following since late 60s! Enjoy!
One of those tunes, best enjoyed on a nice stormy night, lights dimmed, eyes closed and skippin' & hoppin' down memory lane, opening the mind's memories flood gates, wishing you could revisit (some of) those days.
Remember Kaloosekaloose, this was Bluesbreakers. Clapton played the lead guitar, Mayall played the piano. Clapton after Yardbirds and before Cream. --Around '65, maybe.
Én is rettentően csípem ezt a számot ;) ohhh my god, it's awesome , my best Blues song anywhere ;))))))))))) MY LOVE MY WAY (L)

Some music and few musicians only get better with the passage of time. Mayall is among them, and this is such a great of such example.
