i return my fz28,i know its not a camcorder but still some of the cameras can record videos with a good sound,ill post my video tom. i use the fz28 in a wango tango concert and youll know how bad it is,for the pictures its a nice camera but still its not for me,i bought canon sx200 im im happy with hd and nice sound peace
i think what makes the sound noisy is because of the wind. How can any audio recording device avoid the wind noise? i think it's impossible. I think we should try recording indoor without wind and hear if the noise is still there.
the video quality is really great BUT the inbuild microphone sucks. you can hardly understand a word someone is saying. its like you have a pillow on your mouth. its a shame!!!
yeah it is pretty amazing how good it is but i was looking at the sony h50 or something like that and it shoots in 1080 but its only 9mp and 15x optical zoom this camera has the best zoom and quality out of any that i have seen
no, i have an fz28 too and the quality of the sound isn't good. well, i try to record a video of my band in the practice and i couldn't hear nothing but a lot of noise. and my friend's camera (sony cibershot) took the sound record very well.
i actually think the sound is good for a CAMERA this is not meant to be used as a stand alone recorder even though it has the ability. if you are looking for a camcorder that take decent pictures dont get an high zoom camera that takes video and vise verse
For how long can you keep filming?
Is it time limited, or you can keep filming until you fill the SD card?

the dsc-h50 can only record vga in video. I want to buy an fz28 too, but is the quality of the video sound good?
