Depends on how many fast action and slow action there is.

Most fast actions are on 1s, which is 1 drawing per 1/24 second, now most films do 1/30 second though.

Maxium of 30 drawings per second, (usually less than that.)

30X60= 1800 per minute

1800X 5= 9000 drawings max.

A good guess is around 7500-8000 drawings if you want to do good, solid, fast, feature film action on 5 minute film.

you bet. Most official productions have solid action in about 1 minute, and that's already long.
