  • This was really helpful. I ordered a pair of shoes from Sear.com and they left the security tag on. Taking it off myself just saved me some time. Thanks!

  • This was stupid.

  • how do you shit

  • I'm from Chesapeake toooo(:

  • Thanks! One of the stupid sales workers at Costa Blanca left mine on.. and I didnt notice until a week after (since i hadnt worn it yet) and when I brought it back they said I needed a recipt. But it was final sale so obviously I tossed it.. I was so mad. Now I cant wear my dress because your sales worker wasnt doing their job properly? Thanks for the vid :)

  • @ayeshayh And when I asked why the alarm didnt go off shes like.. we dont have sensors....

  • Damn you should have left the tape on, I wanted to see if that really prevented it

  • just burn the middle of the sensor with a lighter and use a knife to pry the rest out, worked for me.

  • it was to hard to pry the flapp open, so i cut the pin at the bace and it fell off lol

  • dat diagram @2:00

  • why did you have to drive to that store specifcally why not just any clothing store makesmore sense '_'

  • why dont u fools just admit it that u stole it,

  • Thank you so much for making this. Easily saved me 10 bucks worth of gas

  • Thanks man, removed a tag from a shirt I totally forgot my grandmother bought last year.

  • I just smashed it open with a hammer.

  • This worked perfectly when sears left a tag on one of my new shirts. Took me about 10 minutes. THANKS!

  • @junctionlisa Yea the Sears cashiers sure are eager to sign you up for a reward card or make sure you hit "very likely" on the questionnaire at the end but when it comes to these tags...

  • 2:04 looks like a dick going into something really familiar ;) lol

  • several days later.................

  • Hmmm i think im going to get me some overpriced polo =)

  • did this really take less time away from you than returning to the store would have?

  • WOW! thanks a lot. I just bought a blazer from sears along with two other things and the blazer (my favorite purchase) had the stupid thing on it when I got home. I was not about to drive all the way back. I was scared to actually try this but I'm glad I did.

I used pliars to rip away the plastic carefully then I carefully grabbed on to the metal that holds the pin in place and while applying pressure, i pulled the pin down.

Took me around 15 minutes because I was nervous lol. THANKS

  • lol, your on the internet, you dont have to act like you bought it, lots of people steal shit

  • @abcd1234781 If he has a video of himself admitting he stole something , he can go to jail. Don't be foolish

  • Comment removed

  • hitting it with a hammer works well :)

  • Just did it, request no brain, just force...

  • THE TAPE THING DOESNT WORK! The two holes on the senso aren't the only holes for ink, where the nail itself is, there are little holes in a circle. The best thing to do is go with the second option. ALL U NEED R NEEDLE NOSE, and TINY FLATHEAD

  • cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160588706973&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

  • haha this REALLY helped me!!!! Thanks a lot for uploading this vid!! xD

  • Yeah those types of ink tags can be removed with a magnetic detacher. You can get them for about $70 from DETACHER.CO and then you can use it over and over for whenever they leave the ink tags on. =)

  • @ahoymark "whenever they leave the ink tags on"

  • @ahoymark no actually u can save 60+$ and buy a pack of 3 magnets called "super magnets" at a Ace hardware store, a local hardware store or menards to name a few. Buyers should 6 total

  • @siamesemilkman I have no idea what country you are from, but I've never heard of those places!

  • thanx for teaching me how to steal =]

  • powerfull Magent 2 seconds

  • want to make or save money on your energy. Get paid for thousands of energy bills no joke do your homework on ignite stream energy and sign up nickpeck dot igniteinc dot biz

  • why alcohol???? try acetone...

  • wire cutters .. takes 3 secs. but you got to be quick and quiet

If u want to learn how to steal.. i work LP & i'm a master.. i can tell you what to look for & when you do it.

    100% effective

  • @MikeyBear2009 add me

  • Thank you so much!!

  • rubber band trick.. wrap it around the needle and you'll hear 3 pops.. and you're done

  • @DiscoHristo Are you sure it works ? o.o how does it pop if you use a rubber band

  • you my man..... just helped me save 4 shirts, and 2 jeans, and 2 hours of time.... thank you .

  • Thanks a lot for this! I had the same problem with the exact same kind of tag. I had seen some other sites where people had dismantled other types in which the top "cone" section had ball bearings instead of the metal clips, but I didn't know if mine had the same mechanism in there. To see the actual device innards instead of just a diagram, and to see the exact same kind that I had on MY clothing from a store an hour away lets me know I can save the wasted time and gas! Happy happy joy joy!

  • Stop discussing the details of shoplifting as security systems companies contiunely improve upon their products (think about that?).

There's enough information online already for newbies to get started and through their own experience can "connect the dots" If you can figure it out through trial and error then you have your payed your dues.

Showing detailed videos on tag removal or RFID dual transmitters doesn't help newbies or knowledged pros but definately helps the authorities!

  • I DID IT (:

but i didnt have any pliars... so i did it with a knife and some scissors....

and stabbed my bed.... and myself....

    but no biggy...

    i got it off (:

  • i did it, it works PERFECTLY, the scotch tape doesnt work tho, bc once i pulled it off i further examined it and saw that there r hidden holes

  • that's actually happened to me, that they leave those things on

i just didnt wear the jacket until we took it back

  • Why didnt you just freeze it??

  • I bought a pair of pants from Pacsun and got back to Australia to find that the security tag was still on them. I googled how to remove the tag and read a bunch of methods- unfortunately here in my hotel room i dont have pliers or metal cutters so eventually just grabbed a fork and popped it off in seconds- sometimes the simplest methods are the best

  • @yumchatakeaway how did you use the fork to pop it off

  • FUCK THE JEWS

  • Nice autopsy. You decimated it.

  • all u do is grip the the two ends with plyers and bend em down

  • shoplifting time!

  • That diagram looks pretty phallic if you ask me....

  • awesome diagam. lol

  • drive back, yeah right! your a low life thief! get a life.

  • if u cut the non ink plastic part of it wit wire cutters to liitle pieces then bend the metal dat holds da pin it comes of just cut the top part of it off :)

  • You can put it in the freezer and the ink wont explode.

  • dont you know they got cameras watching you??

  • Grr...I have just discovered that my 7 year old daughter has been wearing a skirt I bought at TK MAxx in February that still has an Oilily security tag on it...not a TK Maxx on but an Oilily one...thinking of attempting this.

  • Using those snips to break that hard plastic works. Both plastic security containers had inck in them. go through the smaller one carefully. The ink capsules are glass.

  • i have a different tag on my jacket

  • thanks worked like a charm. samething happend to me. I was in another city and they forgot to take the tag off. Technique was sound, but I cut myself with my pliers and got blood on it anyways. ironic.

  • They thought i stole the damn think 3 cut fingers later i removed it and no ink just a mock one

  • 0:36 not good it takes me 60 seconds or less.

  • Thanks for the tutorial, same thing happened to me, only I left the country and had no choice but to remove the tags manually. This video saved me from a big headache.

  • you know he stole dat shit

  • @joshua97 if he could stole that shit with the security tag on, who da fuck would watch these videos anymore? Thinking with your brain, not your ass.

  • @ZGJDJD soo naive how many youtube videos are there too remove these..most EAS alarms go off if they aren't removed when they leave the store, duh

  • Do the tags trigger alarms if you walk out of the store with it?

  • @d0ubled3e no shit. If they wouldn't then there wouldn't be any security tags in the first place

  • @PolishSausagge Then wouldnt the tag in the video have triggered the alarm when he walked out the store?

  • @d0ubled3e Ofc lol...

  • codglither and theabcjoker you guys r fucken idiots cuz you gotta do all the shit in the store...... the easiest way to steal is to look for stuff that doesnt have alarms on it at all..... believe or not out of all of the alarms on clothes there are about 100 items that theyve decided not to put alarms on for some reason

  • wat store did u go to?

    cuz did the sensors beep?

  • why not used a super strong magnet to remove the tags?

  • won't the alarm go off if you walk out with that ink sensor thing on? i've always thought that.

so youre just saying i should bring a magnet when i go shopping? note taken. who wants to go shopping?? : ]

  • i used a sharp knife to cut off the part tht looks like a pyramid and used a screwdirver to take off the flaps holding the pin. it was easier and faster

  • actually now the security tags have changed.. they don't look as big as these ones now at least no in the department store that i shop.

  • You could have just used a Magnet to lift the pin, that's how they remove them at stores. I work there, do it in like 1 second.

  • Excellent advice! Just followed the videos instructions using needle nose pliers and a strong thin pairing knife and Wham O, SUCCESS!

The video really helped regarding the necessary visual aspect of the procedure.

    Thank you.

    Blondae

  • looks like you could use a dremel.

  • y is there ink

  • @magmaman1114 if you steal it it ruins the clothes.

  • @Se7enSlottedToaster yeah, so that at least you cant wear it. that just seems like a little kid made that up, like 'hey! if i cant have it then nobody can!!'

  • i used a giant rock and bashed the part without the ink from the pin lol

  • WOW, i totally didn't know that it would explode ink if you tried to bust it! I've had this happen a few times to me, where they forgot to take it off....I tried to pull it off but always end up taking it there to get it removed. That's a hell of a lot of work though. geeez

  • really dude? a diagram? 2 pliers on either side and bend down.takes about 5 seconds.

  • thanks man!! I had the same issue and do exactly as you! take me like 10 min!

  • or u can just get scissors and cut around the metal peace holding them together then patch or tuck it in

  • you have to freeze it and the cut it with needle nose plyers. also if you work at a place with these tags just steal the handle magnet thingy

  • Clothing stores take the "if I can't have it, nobody can" approach

  • nice diagram lol

  • lol omg haha ur funny...

  • Gotta try this bought my sister a bag from walmart and they forgot to remove this thing and dont feel like going back or have the time to right now.

  • Thank you soooo much!

  • thank u soooooooo much i recently went shopping and one was left on a pair of my skinny jeans it works PERFECTLY THANKS

  • @qgful your first problem was that you bought skinny jeans :-P j/k girls look hot in them... i hope you are a female

  • Fantastic! My mom recently purchased a dress and the dopes left one of these on it. She just called me up and asked if I knew how to remove it. I said I didn't but I bet I know exactly where to look to find out how.

    Good ol youtube.

  • just use 2 pairs of channel lock pliers and grab each end of the tag that grips NOT THE PART WITH THE INK, and bend it upwards and it should release the ink thing. thats just going by what ive seen here and in other videos.

  • @coondogtheman1234 yeah its smart if you

have a rag wrapped around the ink part so when you

break it off with the pliers it won't get on the

    clothes.

  • @jizzy2sexi

just make sure you cover all the holes and the holes closest to the pin. and don't break anything. then take 2 pairs of channel lock pliers and bend the other part (not the ink part) upwards and the ink thing should fall off. This comment is for legally purchased items where the cashier left the tag on by mistake, not for shoplifting purposes.

  • Thanks for this video. I had abought a pair of jeans from a store when I was visiting florida and I knew I couldn't go back to get them to remove it (i live in VA) to get the ink tag off. I had managed to get most of the way but your video definitely helped me get that stupid thing off. Thanks!!

  • looool dont use this 2 steal from shops

  • i used to work at a department store and all that they use to remove those is a bowl shaped magnent at the registers im not sure how all it works but they would pop right off when i used to take them off for customers.

  • what part of NOVA do you live in?

  • Thank you so much. I was in the same exact situation, with different stores of course, and went straight to the internet. it worked in about 10 minutes. thanks again

  • Cool you can also use a bench grinder or rub it down on the sidewalk

  • When this happened to me I just used a butane lighter to torch the one side, ours were different, it was a pin with 4 ball bearings surrounding it, so after the ballbearings fall out you just pull the pin.

  • Actually what you need is a powerful magnets, and there is no ink or anything like that, in those types of tags

  • This has absolutely no practical application

  • It did for me, but then I'm not a shoplifter. A pair of shoes I ordered online came with an ink tag just like this one on it, and this video helped me get the tag off.

    It's a five-star video in my book.

  • Comment removed

  • thanks, uve made my shoplifting easier!!

    :]

    lol...jk

  • nice ha

  • @theabcjoker sorry i didnt mean to vote down, meant to vote up lol

  • @theabcjoker hell yeah

  • i thought it was magnets..

  • you can actually tighten a rubber band in the middle of the two pieces, on the side with the clothing and the non-ink part, and as you begin to turn, the pressure will move the pin to slide through the two metal clasps holding it in, causing the pin to release... its safer, and quicker. i work lp, not a shodlifter.

  • Fucking stupid. People do this because sometimes, cashiers don't remove the tags, and if you don't remove, cops can can assume you shoplifted. Fucking hick.

  • Wed have mag strips here, in additions to only being alowed in fitting station with a certain amount of clothes, plus at least one person will suerpervise fitting station until you either return the clothes, or pay for them.

  • huh?

  • twist and pull.

    works for me.

  • earth magnets wont work??

  • People working in loss prevention should take a look at our new products for jamming electronic article surveillance systems.

  • man thanx. i was looking for this kind of vid. i lost the receipt. it was on a jansport backpack..... my dads gonna try to remove it.

    thanx!

  • WOW nice security tag! Never seen those. Thanks anyway.

  • i took 2 pliers and bent the sides that do not have the ink 2 make enough space were i could get wire cutter and cut the pin and it worked out great and it took me about 1minute 2 get it offf

  • how do u do that?

  • damn i was lookin for a vid wer sumone actualy wreaks their clothes

  • good security knowledge, thanks for sharing.

  • Wow... thanks to stumble there is gonna be a HUGE increase in shoplifting this summer lol

  • well im going shoplifting

  • yea but itd be obvoius to bring a wrench and spend a long tim eon one shirt right?

or u can give me some tips?

  • i actually stole a couple of neckleces from hollister theres only a little think on it dat came off with some strong biting

  • does that really work?

wouldnt the employees notice smoke coming up haha?

or ur just talking about removing it at home...

  • Thank you so much!! I just bought this expensive swim wear and Macy's left it on..... I did what you did and got it off! Thanks!!!

  • thank god! now i can steal things without damaging the apparelL thanks!

  • ya just bought some jeans, hopefully this works ill try it thx

  • Just returned from my NYC trip to Germany and guess what, Macys left the tag. Guess i have to try this xD

  • Haha these things have gotta be useless on tie dye tees lol

  • happened to me today, I bought a pair of black skinny jeans for school and lo'and behold! a security tag was forgotten on my jeans...and I didn't want to drive 45 mins back to the huge mall, so what I did was wrap the ink part in plastic wrap and twisted a rubber band on the pin in the middle through the otherside and it popped off after a couple of clicks....didn't even break the ink holders...:)

  • THANKS SO MUCH I GOT IT OFF MY JACKET!!! to easy

  • Use a strong Magnet ( old hardrive one , there very strong ) . put the magnet on the back ( pointed end ) of the tag , push in slightly and remove the the tag .

The magnet holds the metal locking tabs open :) .

  • OMG! Thank you so much! I tore off the tags & tossed my reciept before I noticed the security tag the next day. It took me about 45 minutes but it worked & it was kinda fun getting off as i was so scared the whole time I was going to ruin my new pants! Thanks again! I love you!

  • Omgg it works =D

saved me a 15 minute trip to JCpenney

  • really?... you couldnt take a 15 minute drive?..

    cmon.

  • I have a jacket I've been wanting to wear but the dang ink tag was still on it when I got home. Mine is a round one but I'm sure it's constructed the same way. I'll have to get to work on it!

  • Thank you! My mother had sent a dress for my daughter that she bought at a small chain in California (we live in Oregon). Your video saved me the R&D and let me get the tag off in just a few minutes! Much appreciated!

  • You saved my daughter's Easter dress!! Thanks for posting this! Sears forgot to pull the tag off and my wife did not find it until well after they closed on Sat night. I worked it for an hour and got the thing off!! You are a life saver!

  • What about returning back to the shop??????

  • you went through this whole adventure just to find out the mistery behind the "sexurity tag".... Even drew a diagram!!! Omg, genious! You are the man! I'll bet all day-to-day activities for you are like this, like an awesome thriller/action movie!! Lol, im not hating, just complimenting!! Peace~`

  • an plastic bag, a rubberband, and a hammer...you are good to go

  • I learned a really useful method of removing ink-tags without having to worry about your clothes getting wrecked. Put it in the freezer for a day =D then smash it up as much as you want but make sure it doesn't melt...

  • Next time you think to post, don't

You're a stupid cunt and have no idea what yourtalking about.

    @Chronic

  • Thanks so much for this video!!! I bought my niece some summer clothes at the end of the season and just got them out to wrap for her birthday...the shorts had that stupid sensor on...I don't have the receipt at this point, and the store is over an hour away. I did end up with a small hole where I pried it apart, but luckily the sensor was on the seam so I can sew it up. I never would have thought about cutting the plastic away...THANKS!!!

  • you made a diagram and everything. lol..

  • Thankyou for this video. I had ordered sneaks online, and they came with an ink tag. Ugh. They forgot to take it off before shipping. At any rate, I found your vid and it was the exact copy of the ink security tag you have. I cut open the plastic with snips, then with screw driver lifted up a metal piece and slid it open. Saved my sneaks. Thanks

  • Talk about doing stuff the freakin hard way.

have you not got strong magnets where you live at????

and if you haven't got a magnet just hold a cigarette lighter until the plastic melts then out pops a couple of ball bearings and off it pops job done

  • Ughhhhhhhhhhhh this makes me mad since I worked in retail and the fuckers always tried to rip my store off! Fuckers! But not on my shift!

  • Do you make more money by stopping them?

And why do you care, your not losing money, and it's not "Your store", so why get all huffy, you act as if what they steal effects you in any way...

Honestly, isn't there any thing in your life that matters more than your place of work? Go to work, get paid, g have fun with friends...

  • theft= less store profit = less money to pay workers = less shifts for workers...

  • Mayne if someone stole some like 100thousand dollars worth, but hell, do you really think that all these workers are being laid off in America because of a few shoplifters? No, it's the bullshit corperate heads who are so loose with thier billions of dollars that they fuck up. Then in order to pay for thier .5million dollar vacation they have to lessen the poeple who work for thier companies and put more strain on the other workers.

    Really now...

  • yeah, the CEO of JCPenny has to pay for expensive prostitutes. its not cuz of shoplifting

  • i h8 wen stores dont take em off

  • its very easy. their are two things on the side that all you have to do is get two flat screw drivers and push them together at the same time and its free. thats hard plastic and it looks like it must have taken you about an hour to open that little tip. well thats all you have to do for next time.

materials needed: 2 flat head screw drivers!

DO NOT DO THIS AT STORES. MOST LIKELY YOU WOULD GET AWAY BUT STEALING IS VERY BAD.

  • As for the reason you can walk out of the store with out being detained...simple. The employees are not police. I'd say about 10% of people actually stop when the sensors beep. Employees can only ask people to stop so they can check the items. Most people just keep walking.

Also just sawing through the metal pin works. It seems you went through a great deal of work to get it off, but I have found hundreds of sensors that were pried off clothing left in my store.

  • duuudee superrrr coool! nice diagram!lol
