I have been on several of Elgin's House Walk Tours. Out of the normal 10 houses that are shown generally, at least 7 out of the 10 have a "problem". I don't go looking for Ghosts. But when I am finally inside, listening to the story of the house, the smell of funeral flowers, mums mostly is all around me. I look around and there are NO mums to be seen. My guess would be a residual "haunting" if i can use that term. Douglas and Chicago Streets are saturated with "A forgotten time long ago"

Gads ! Get on with it ! The Abby Saunders Wing Mansion is messed up. Bluff City Cemetery is also a little strange.

I actually went to one of these. like 3 or 4 years ago. It was really fun! I still remember the stories they told us.
