Easier and faster way to open locks / doors or vending machines is to use some superbumpkeys I got some online for only 2 bucks, at superbumpkeys. Com and they work great.

a masterlock 140 has spool pins. which means the barrel shud rotate halfway before fully opening.

then you would need to set the spool fully which you cant do without releasing tension.

in other words.
