There's a japanese dub version of C&C1?? ME WANT :O

of course there is. every part of the series was also released in japan.

the japanese playstation version is called "Command & Conquer Complete", published by Acclaim in early 1998. it has all missions from the original and Covert Operations and some extra missions created for this port.

it's pretty cheap too.

Hehe. I'm a C&C1 collector, see. I try to get every version of C&C1 ever released.

I already cobbled together a 3-language pack of C&C1, with English, French and (uncensored) German.

The Saturn version is especially useful since it has the videos in the original C&C VQA video format.

I didn't know there was a uncensored german version. I guess I'm used to the changed storyline and infantry replaced with cyborgs/androids. :P

btw the file extensions are just VQA and the video files are in the Saturn's Cinepak v1.2 format.

Does the sega saturn version of the game has the in game music in cd quality? (or it has the album versions where act on instinct is disturbed by speech)

yes, unlike the PC and Playstation versions(low quality PCM stream) the Saturn version uses high quality CD-DA music. Sadly, it uses the Album version of the Soundtrack that is(like you mentioned before)full of voice samples. I prefer the original mixes from the PC/DOS version.

Playstation version has stereo music though, so it'as already better than the PC version there.
