My old science teacher would put the paper flat on the table and then put a ruler right where she wanted to rip the paper. Then she'd just pull the part of the paper next to the ruler and it would be cut perfectly o___o

I fold and tear paper all the time. Of course, the paper is almost always just for my own use. I have scissors in one drawer in the kitchen and that's it. Therefore, if I print a todo list on 1/4th of a piece of paper upstairs, I won't walk all the way downstairs to the kitchen to get the scissors to cut the paper. Of course, I'm a guy who puts on the same pair of jeans I've worn for over a week saying to myself: "Hey, I ain't in some fashion show." Why is this man still single?

I rip the papers, but what you do is you have to fold the paper perfectly, and you have to either lick the crease or pinch it between your nails and pull them along the edge a bunch of times. Here's a quick tip that makes ripped paper look smoother:

1 - Bend and fold paper

2 - Bend in opposite direction and fold

3 - Lick edge of fold slightly a couple times

4 - Rip slowly

The slip comes out better and I think it's a good compromise for Papper Rippers vs. Natlalie
