@harry3life That may be, but that doesn't make it the "right" way to hold a sword. It just makes it the way Zack and Angeal held it so the sword wouldn't go blunt. Oddly enough, during the games if you watch carefully, they still use the bladed edge to slice things.

Besides, although they're the original owners of the sword, Cloud made the Buster Sword famous (FFVII) and he held it bladed edge down; so that's where my refrence came from.

Buster Sword was intended to be used by Tidus. It can only be viewed by examining the game's internal data, and then hacked into the game for Tidus to use.

I got FF7 when I was 9 or 10 back in 98/99 when the game was fairly new. I remember faking sick just so I could keep playing the awesome game, bbecause my only game before that was Mario and Duckhunt. XD. Thanks to one lucky buy, I'm a huge rpg fan now, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thinking of this now; there could be an interesting reason behind this. Square admitted that at some point in the early life of PS2, they were planning on attempting to remake the various PSX FF games on PS2. Of course, these plans never came to fruition, but that could be a leftover on the FFX engine from some early pitch attempt.

@Carlzization I have Rikku also. You can have one of the three girls or no one tossing the ball for Blitz Ace. To get a different girl, you have to raise the affection towards Tidus. Check the walkthrough by German Dragon on gamefaqs. Part of his guide give the run down and points where you can change their affection.

Remember that scene in Macalania when Tidus is riding the slde with Lulu and she tells him not to develop feelings for Yuna? Does your response to her have any effect on who appears during Blitz Ace to give Tidus the ball? Seriously I tend to take every opportunity to hit on Lulu, and I've never once gotten Rikku. In an old file I said "Too late" to her and got Yuna often, which is why I'm asking.
