Pestilence (also known as Plague at times), Rider of the White Horse, was the first to ride - and he was given a crown and had power to conquer all. War, Rider of the Red Horse - has a sword, and powers to take peace and make man fight one another. Famine, Rider of the Black Horse - has a pair of scales, which symbols.. Well, famine.

@Ag3ntDetroit And Death, Rider of the Pale/Green Horse - he was followed by Hades (not the Greek God, Hades as in the meaning in Christianity (Hell)).. And they had the power to kill by sword, famine and plague. So the strongest, I suppose would be the Pale Rider. As far as I remember, the reason why Hell (Hades) was following Death - was so take all the souls.

@Leivve Famine has a pair of scales. In the game, replaced by a whip with spiky stuff - and Conquest has a set of guns instead of a bow.

@Ag3ntDetroit And being that they've changed the names, I wonder if Fury will still have some abilities that 'plague' enemies, as names like Famine or Pestilence imply (the way I see it, Famine and Pestilence are the same horseman. Conquest has nothing to do with scales or sickness, but has a bow). I can imagine she could pull an Omega Red (an X-Men villain) and use her whips to grab onto enemies and drain their lifeforce.

@Annihal101 Well, in the original myth - Conquest was replaced with Pestilence/Plague by some people, but I also see Famine/Plague/Pestilence more as the same.. Conquest is the most fitting name for the first Horseman, and Famine I always saw more as Pestilence.

I know Fury has a whip with some spikes on it, so I guess she will have some *plagues* Hope it will be made well :) I wonder how they will represent "Hades" as it must follow Death.. Maybe there will be a weapon for Death called Hades.

Maybe Death's crow (it's been hinted at to be his clue giver like the Watcher in DS1) will be named Hades? There's also some footage of him summoning a murder of crows that will likely murder his enemies for him. (yay puns). I also wonder what his horse will be called.

@Annihal101 Yeah, the others were merely explained and what power they were given. The White Rider could conquer, Red could cause war, Black Rider Famine (Where I guess the plague/pestilence could fit). Only the Pale Rider was named, but he had no weapon as such.

Death's Horse will be called Despair in Darksiders II. There's a bit of info on it. Stuff like it's created from torn flesh and bones of corpses

It's a shame they changed the names of Conquest/Pestilence and Famine.. Will be interesting how they portray Hades (Hades is Hell in the myth, however he is at times also portrayed as a character - not the Hades from Greek myth, though!)

@AlmightyUniden I am aware the WIi U comes out this year. The Dev Kit is done on the Wii U. Meaning besides maybe button layout changes and colour changes and such the Wii U is DONE. So no point in the Wii U sitting for 8 months when its finished. All thats left is the games to be made. People guess the Wii U will be out October-November. I still am predicting July-August.

Weird thing... players seem to be pushing developers into making open world games, but for some reason i loose interest sooner when playing those. I prefer a somewhat linear game if its paired up with good story, music, gameplay and characters. I like seeing a character developing on its own through the storyline rather than having to asign it a personality myself.

Also, i`d even go so far as to let them abuse me sexualy for NOT IGNORING THE PC MARKET.

@Pukawatz Ya I loved God of war 3 and castlevania lords of shadow, they were the linear game with good story and music, characters, etc. I think open world is being made more nowadays for it's replay values. The linear games tends to get boring after your finished.

@Subaru537 LA Noire can be considered to be linear and it has a HUGE open world! I bet majority of players end up skipping all the driving. A Linear game is all in how you play it too, consider I my first playthrough of skyrim was under 100 hours to 100% complete all it's quest (well the two characters in Oblivion with 200+ hours together helped though)

Darksiders is a beast! and a must play game these days.. as to what to expect in the future well.. i believe in 2 options! 1) Making a game foe each horseman.. in this darksiders universe there are no Pestilence and Famine.. Instead we have Fury and Strife.. then after 4 games we`ll have the armaggeddon game which would include all 4 of them

Im thinking one of the other horseman are going to make a cameo in Darksiders II. We know this one runs parallel to Darksiders 1 so there will def be mention of War, maybe even a cameo but I HOPE that they tease or even let us see one of the other horseman before the end of the game. I see this being a trilogy. 3 at max. Not a Darksiders 4 or 5.
