Before Zedd "Improved" the Putties, Rita tried her shot at it with "Super Putty". The result: slightly darker faces with red eyes. But they were still no match for the Rangers.

Those were some sweet weapons they used on them too, if you watch carefully you'll note that one Jason is holding is combined with his side arm. In the original sentai series, these were regularly used along side the blade blasters. Too bad there wasn't more footage of them in the show over here.
