Holy shit, heated AND reclining rear seats?!?! That is one really rare option, very few 126's had them...

@benzlover55 I am pretty sure on the 560 the reclining seats were standard in the back, but only on the 560 SEL, the SE, etc did not have them (not enough room) and given that the 500/560 was the top model, it was standard. As for heating, I think that was standard all around most S class models. The reclining rear seat in my 560 is pretty cool, but the REALLY rare option was two separate seats in the back. It was a factory option. Console in the middle. Much like the front.

@benzlover55 What model do you have. Those were standard on almost any 500/560 SEL, like the moonroof is. Although its possible to remove the standard items.

Great car, great car. What else can I say? The Mercs of this era were the best, truly "engineered like no other car in the world." These were the last of the truly well-made Mercs, before the danged drop in quality. Sure, Mercs after these were still nice cars, but really not the same. These, the W116 And W126 S-Classes, the SLs of the same era, and the W124 E-Class were the dream cars of my childhood and youth.

There are still many old Mercedes' out there. They run up to 1/2 a million miles if not more if you take care of them. Mid 1980's Mercedes' have the technology you see in mid 1990's vehicles. Mercedes was ahead of its time in engineering.

I almost for got the back seat i was rushing a bit, some of them hare hard to plan out to do the video in under 15 mins... Amazing ive went from 2 mins to 15 and need 20...lol

I think that paint on the bottom comes from when they paint fresh lines on the road. I got some of that on my car over the summer and it was a pain in the ass to get off.

It is one of my favorite parts to do and i see alot of room for improvement and try and work on my way of doing it..;-p Man I love cars.... especially Mercedes,,,,,;-p
