does this work with the ipod touch over wifi? because ive been looking for some program to make my ipod into a wireless adapter because the ipod touch gets better wifi than my real wireless adapter

All you do is go to Cydia-Sources-Manage-Edit-Add new Source then type sinfuliphonerepo.C0m -then search PdaNet or Look for MYWIFI cracked.

WARNING! This app does not work any longer. Since Addition updated the app to version 2.2 it doesn't work. I purchased version 2.1 and it worked great until I updated to version 2.2. The app now only states "Wrong WiFi network". I have emailed Addition for help and support and have yet to receive a reply after several weeks. Their customer support is non-existent. I'm so annoyed that this app no longer works for me and I cannot get a refund. Use PDANet instead.

I have a first gen jailbroken iPhone trying to port with a Macbook Pro running Leopard, and I did all the steps you mentioned. The app both on the computer and the iPhone only tell me that it's waiting for iPhone, waiting for iPhone...it seems to connect to the EDGE then to WiFi network, but never over to the computer...do I need to have the full version (buy it) to connect to the computer or are you doing this with the freeware?? Please help.

What happens when you receive a call? Does the wifi disconnect? I would guess that it does due to the fact that you can't use web data while the phone is in use.

Also how does this work in comparison to an at&t aircard?

I just bought one but have another week before I won't be able to return it.

the wifi here is not a real "wifi" network. it acts like a bridge connecting ur pc and ur iphone. the wifi mode here is Ad-hoc which does not consume data usage within ur current wifi network. :)

ya but how would i use my iphone as a modem on a computer that does not already have the internet seeing that when you opened up the program on the iphone then you had to go to the website on your desktop

You don't need to go on that website all the time its just a one offto download the program you need , the point off it is that you can use your iphone net conection anywhere there is a 3g signal
