Not to take anything away from Sheryl, who is one of my favorite contemporary guitarists, or Gary Versace, whom I don't believe I've had the privilege to see live but who sounds like a killer player... but I must focus on Ian Froman for a second and say that he is one of the greatest drummers who has ever lived, and you simply *must* see him perform if you are in the NYC area, preferably with Sheryl at 55 Bar. It's a transformative experience, the two of them together.

This was very nice! Just read about gary versace in Jazz Times. I was not disappointed. Very very nice! Hope to hear more of this cat!
