  • I love how Murray so beautifully captures the essence of not only the characters but of general truths of life in his music. I listen to this piece and I understand Amy more than I have understood anyone and each note calls me back to long forgotten and magically complex feelings and moments in my own life. It is absolutely brilliant and enormously moving.

  • @HeartfeltDawn love it, so true. russel t davies was a terrible writer.

  • Twenty six thousand views and nobody disliked this.

  • Thumbs up if you wish you finally found your fob watch and opened it.

  • LONG LIVE DOCTER WHO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi everybody, I’m putting this comment on as many of my videos as possible on purpose so don’t mark it as spam or something hahaha. Anyway, I’ve made a Facebook page and I need more fans :) You can just search for “Gr8Music42” on Facebook. I’ll give status updates about latest albums/ music that I uploaded and you can ask questions or suggest ideas there.

  • this is amazing. murray gold is such a genius.

  • This is THE greatest soundtrack ever written.

  • @Gr8Music42 I'm 20 now. In the David Tannet era is when i found out how amazing this series is I couldn't stop watching. Looking forward to the coming season now that I know the Doctor is still living and is also Amy's son in law. Lol What will happen if River and the Doctor have a kid? Is that how the time lords will return? It'll be amazing to see just what adventures await the new couple and we still didn't see the death of the Darleks. I'm sure they'll return. LOL can't wait!!!!

  • i love the angelic part of the song!! I've been looking for it for such a long time!!!!!!!

  • Once it got past 3:00 minutes, nothing could wipe the smile from my face!!! LONG LIVE DOCTOR WHO!!!

  • There is only one thing about Matt i dont get!....He is the dumbest person in the world, but yet, the most clever being in the universe! i get really confused

for instance "And its about to get more Insanerer, is that a word" LOVED THAT, but just wondering, that isnt the doctor..HES A ROBOT! XD

  • I <3 Murray Gold!!! I think he is the best composer ever!!! He did the perfect songs for Doctor Who and I am obsessed with it!! He is my favorite composer!!!

  • 3:00 gives me goosebumps everytime

  • @HeartfeltDawn I Actually loved every minute of David in Doctor who

  • @ThoraxTheAvnger And that is your absolute right as a Doctor Who fan to like what you want.

  • @ThoraxTheAvnger (The 'utter gash' bit was directed more towards the music. I love every minute of Doctor Who always. Even the really not-so-great episodes.)

  • I think this song should be called Oh My God It's Killing Me With It's Power To Remind Me Why I'm Stuck In School Instead Of Traveling With The Doctor In The TARDIS

  • what is the theme called from 3:01 to the end called ?

  • @sammysamsamxxx It's called I Am The Doctor. :)

  • I love Murray gold, so I went to barns and noble to buy CDs. The only one I could find was from the rose years. I cried. I hated it. So disappointed. I don't blame Murray gold, cause as one poster said, he was reflecting the show. And I can't stand rose. But this-this is beautiful.

  • The best bit is the 3:01 till the end

  • Luna brought me here

  • @shauno5166 Aha!! same man *bro hoove*

  • @jonnyharding101 *brohoof*

and too any other brony that reads this comment *brohoof*

  • 0 Dislikes? I should think so!

  • My fav part is the whole thing !!!!!!

  • youve got a wooden tardis do you feel stupid

  • the part I love the most is 1:11 to 3:00

  • the only part in this song that i REALLLY HATE is 4:20

  • This is one of Murray's best pieces. It really captures the magic and enchantment of the TARDIS.

  • epic. end of story.

  • "Goodbye Ledworth! Hello... EVERYTHING!"

  • "What do you think? Be honest. I've heard it all."

    "...I'm in my nightie."

  • @crazyrabbits Liar, Doctor. I doubt you've heard that before.

  • From 3:20 to the end is amazing! The male voices from the choir jsut make me cry with joy every time!

  • Amy is....how this music is described, that's Amy. It goes perfectly with Karen's character.

  • @HeartfeltDawn I have to agree. At the beginning, some of Murray's scores were rather bit cruddy with a few rare gems every now and then. But as each series passed along, the music became increasingly improved until finally reaching levels of perfection in Series 5. Comparing something like Amy In the TARDIS to a Series 1 score like Westminster Bridge shows how much he's evolved and improved over time.

  • @MoOmBaMaStAr When Murray hit gold, like Madame de Pompadour's theme, he hit big. Usually he'd then go and crap it up with some horribly overblown theme. He's learnt about subtlety. He's learnt when to be gentle and then when to hit the fanfares. If you listen to the latest soundtrack album, you can hear that he's been really influenced by Hans Zimmer's work on the Nolan Batman films (some of the Silurian episode tracks are totally Zimmer.

  • @MoOmBaMaStAr Also, I'd say that his music keeps matchign the series. RTD's era wasn't subtle. The whole Rose-Doctor thing was slapped into our faces with all the subtlety of a brick and many of Murray's tracks echoed that. Now in the Smith era we do have subtlety and the music has followed that. In the current series, I can't think of one piece of backing music that has made me cringe, something that happened a great deal in the past.

  • All of time and space, anything that ever happened or ever will. Where do you want to start?

  • There's a freaking Electronic Organ in here. this is awwweeesome!!!

  • @Gr8Music42 wow, I'm 17 and was basically raised with the Doctor...my dad is a huge fan so I've seen them all and I must say that these tracks are spectacular! I love how different the ages are as well, it just shows how lasting this series is :)

  • I <3 Amy Pond

  • Y'know what would be absolutely awesome to this track?

    Tapdancing.

  • thanks for taking the time man!

  • 3:01 is where it gets really epic

  • @TEHEmmie I AGREE! It just, HITS you! You want to hit the floor running dontcha? :)

  • @csi016 XD yea

  • @HeartfeltDawn I agree! after watching all the david tennant specials, I was like "there is no way they can build on this." season 5 is breath of fresh air. loving it!

  • Can't thank you enough for putting the whole soundtrack up.

  • @Fishking321 Your Welcome!

I'm glad so many people enjoy it

  • @Gr8Music42 is there a place where i can download this freely?? my computer cant support itunes :(

  • @littlejohn0119 Enter this link at mediaconverterDOTorg, select mp3, 128kbits as the output source. wait. done.

  • @KingLofiOne for some reason it didnt work :( thanks anyways.

  • @littlejohn0119 It doesn't work with Firefox 4. Try an earlier version, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. Sometimes the program won't pick up the sound and just diplays an empty status bar, but that's fine, just refresh the page and try again. You've got five tries per day.

  • @littlejohn0119 You can also use clipconverterDOTcc. It's quicker and easier, I figured.

  • @littlejohn0119 Well, at the moment I'm using listentoyoutubeDOtcom and it works fine with Firefox 4. There you just have to paste the URL into the bar and hit go. Then, after a little bit (it doesn't take too long, maybe at least a minute) you click on the orange download button. This will direct you to the next, grey download button. This page will take a sec to load, but that's only because it has a ton on little ads. From there, Just hit the last one, and you will get the mp3 file.

  • @littlejohn0119 On my channel i have somewhere a program called DVDVideoSoft. I use that do download stuff. It does a lot like convert youtube videos to mp3, downloads youtube videos, converts videos to mp3, videos to specific formats for phones and heaps more. REALLY good program. i recommend it

  • @littlejohn0119 the pirate bay and utorrent.......

  • Being a violinist and a member of a symphony, I really appreciate all of Murray's work. It shows real ingenuity in the blending of harmonies. Though certain pieces can be under-appreciated (like slower music, for example) because the flashy, more upbeat music gets all the attention. Murray puts beauty into the soul of the music throughout the Doctor's stories.

  • @HeartfeltDawn Could'nt agree more!

  • @HeartfeltDawn Nicely put! Agreed

  • One of the best tracks. of all time!!!

  • @HeartfeltDawn I love how Who fans shit on other Doctors. It's lovely.

  • @PonFarrTime I'm not shitting on Tennant's portrayal. The script writing is what gets slated. RTD descended into virtual parody with his writing. The first two Tennant seasons were pretty good but really slipped off in quality after that.

  • the song u r thinkin about, Mayanwolfe, is down the rabbit hole

  • "Anywhere you want, any time you want. So, where do you want to start?"

  • Love this track, so magical and wonderfuly crafted.
