  • Thank you ...you play wonderfully... (I can play the beginning parts of this..) This is my favorite Chopin composition... God Bless you for the New Year and Always... !!~!

  • We need more views on Mozart requiem

  • Well done Cubus, I just think you are rushing towards this ,as usual but i am not saying you are bad. Everyone makes mistakes

  • @karenrox4ever Do not think for even a moment that you are right in what you say. Cheers. :)

What you call mistakes, the wise call self-expression. What? Different from common interpretations? Even different from what Chopin himself wrote on the page? Good. Musical expression is not subject to mistakes (as are hitting the right notes).

Put away your self-righteousness and your improper judgement and fruitless criticism (and indeed there are good forms of criticism). Cheers :).

  • A momentous rendition.

I prefer the ric CHOPIN: Waltz in A minor (Op. Posth.) [v01]

over this version. I find the slower pace graceful.

  • I love you... sigh.

  • ummm. this is ok i guess, but why so choppy? you pause for one second and then play really fast. especially in the twirl things. just sounds a little weird. but it was played good i guess.

  • @channelhoward my teacher is asking me to do this too. he calls it rubato

  • @channelhoward Yes VERY choppy

  • I know you did this on two version, another one slower. I like this one much better, becaue I feel more of the music's beuty in this one.

  • @timothy3316

    uh... vol 1 I guess

  • good job

  • very excellent!!! just played it a while ago, but your touch is great!

  • very good interpretation, but i think it's all little bit too much pedal?

  • this kind of rubato is much much better than the other version!!

perfect video... perfect dynamics, every note perfectly hit! even and the color of the effect you used matches perfectly the piece!

bye the way, what software did you use for it?

cause I am a piano teacher and I want to use it for my students :D

  • Be Carefull with the tempo... sometimes is kind of irregular... anyways i think is very good interpretation =) keep working...

  • @mamuchita18 Thats how music from Romantic era is supposed to be played :D

  • @tomnguyen93 Well, yes, but not as quite off beat. It is a waltz....

Anyway, very nice. :) I do happen to prefer version 1, though.

  • trés trés belle interpétation avec beaucoup de sensibilité mème si le tempo me parrait un peu rapide .... trés beau

  • I hope to learn this in time for a competition in february, wish me Luck!

btw you play it too fast

  • Excellent interpretation :)

  • this is played sooooooooooooooooooo well. i love your tone. i think thats wat makes it so good

  • U NEED FEEL MORE THE 5TH FINGER OF THE RIGHT HAND AND CAREFUL THIS PEDAL

  • too much pedal!

  • I love the way you play this piece. I am learning this one at the moment but do have problems with the trills and runs, I think all of your pieces on here are played just the way I would like to play them. Thank you x

  • so many haters on this site. you jealous fucks.

  • @miraeja

Agreed! And if you'll take notice, 99% of the people who say bad things about other pianist's performances don't have a single recording of their own, and in all likelihood don't even play the instrument. Even if someone *does* play a piece poorly, as long as they put their heart into it and make an effort they deserve to be commended, it takes guts to make your performances public for the world to see.

    To the video poster:

Most excellent performance! I very much enjoyed it. =)

  • the effects are awesome. it's like watching a moving painting.

  • No one plays Chopin like you do.

  • @Se7enClub Hey!! No one plays Chopin like I do either, but that's not a bad thing :o)

  • this is the waltz-rytm!

  • Nice playing on all your videos, but i cant stand the effects :/

  • the rythem isn't really there at some times, and the dynamic isn't always as is should be. but it's played well, i don't think you are as pasioned as me, for example. i play this piece of chopin too, so that's why i hear these little 'mistakes' as you could call them.

  • The dynamic wasn't as it should be because it's his interpretation, it's beautiful. Try following everything literally in the sheet and you end up sounding like a machine... This has soul and the soul of a piece is not something you will find in the sheet music...

  • I must say though, that this is a waltz, and when it's lacking that waltzy rhythm, it just doesn't sound right at all. You've got this strange rhythm going on where the first and third beats are longer than the second, and it feels really weird.

But otherwise, it's still really nice.

  • can anyone find the music sheet for this song bcuz i cant find it and i wanna learn this

  • i found the sheet music in google

  • Absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing... 5***** and best wishes,

    Lilly

  • shocked....

    totally awesome!!

  • Awesome man, I'm gonna learn this, beautifully played. *****

  • this song is so peaceful.. so good to listen to

  • I'd rather this song be played at a normal speed

  • bass sounds really nice

  • Very Nicely played! A lot of musicality, which I enjoyed. i just have one point of (hopefully) constructive criticism: This is a waltz, but you play it as a nocturne or scherzo. A waltz must have this remaining rythm, especially with chopin in the left hand. I hope this helps! As I said, your musicality is very good, and your technique as wel, but just remember not to let your palm under the keyboard.

Leaving this out: Very Well done!
