  • Did you say your not a pro, you just like doing your own nails? If that's true, may I ask why you have not used your talents to go to school and get paid to create beautiful nails? Your already as good as many I have seen in the business. I am a nail care specialist with 18 years experience and we love when artists who love nails like we do, join the profession.

  • how do you know ur not drilling the natural nail plate instead of the acrylic layer? just wondering :)

  • @DOWN666FALL With now experience with an efile, use it slow and careful on yourself, paying close attention the the existing product on the nail. You can see the product end and if you hit your own nail, you will know. After a while, its a feel. Product feels different under the file. I don't recommend the efile on yourself because they can damage the nails in a second if used improperly. There are several pro tutorial here on youtube for efile work. I would start there before attempting it. :)

Jw what kind of electric nail filer do you use, I do mines a lot at home also and am looking to invest in a good electric nail filer for home use. Also jw

can I use regular glitter to mix with my colored powder to create a glitter or does it have to be opeaque glitter

  • So lovely

  • thats gorgeous!! you honestly do the best nails ever!!!! only thing is the bourderx glitter is a little to 'chunky' for tynting acrylic powder, the glitter is to promenant, amthyst mica looks gorgeous when you use a tiny bit, having purple instead of pink looks so nice!! the chrome carmine, carmine red, cellini red and paradice majestic peearl red are the best for creating 'tynts' they look gorgeus!! and of couse so does the other one you used, the duochrome orange oneis soooooo nice to!!!

  • hola !!!!!!!! me encanta tus disenos eres toda una profesional yo estoy cojiendo el curso de unas ya casi estoy el graduarme he intentado varias veces de hacer las flores 3d me podria decir q tipo de brocha y size q usas gracias :)

  • hey is see that you are using a pink nail drill. I just wanted to know if your drill stops drilling on its on, when your filing a nail. I hope you can help me out because thats what happens to me. by the way your nails look amazing.

  • @ItSrEd661 It shouldn't stop when its on, there should be something that allows you to change the speed of the drill tho. It'll only turn off when you turn the switch off, I'm only basing this on my drill at work. Not sure if you guys use the same thing as me.

  • So cute

  • how don't dry fast the white acrylic?

  • can you please tell me what that stone is called tha your resting your finger on...lol i am searching but i dont know wha its called ugg lol

  • Holy cow those are long nails. I guess I just dont know what proper length is since I chew mine but, wow. Beautiful look :D

  • How much did your kit costs

  • How do yon do that with your left hand I'm not talented:(

  • Umm it's called something that startS with an m I tji

  • Very nice job, but what is the liquid that you use to make the powder turn to liquid or gooey once you apply it on the nail? Also, what does the UV nail sealer do?

  • @Killaskitch its called acrylic liquid....and what the uv sealer does is it shines more than reg. top coat and longer too because most cannot be removed unless u file it off.....but u need a uv lamp to cure it otherwise it wont dry.

  • Very nice job, but what is the liquid that you use to make the powder turn to liquid or gooey once you apply it on the nail?

  • Wow thats awesome that you can do that yourself! I need to learn because I could save a lot of money!

  • can you tell me the nail drill that you are using? Is that good?how much does that cost?where did you purchased yours from?

  • where can i get the mica online?? or could another powder if yes can you tell me wht kind of powder

  • Why do people watch these videos and then say how the person that posted it stinks? So ridiculous.I think this person is enjoying herself and took time to share.Everyone as their own taste when it comes to acrylic nails.

  • @danishlover1 i agree!

  • I think these nails are beautiful and for someone who is only doing it as a hobby and hasn't had any prior training i am very impressed.

Keep up the good work. You should be very proud of yourself :) xx

  • do something purple..

  • @yashibabii18

I did purple tips for halloween, I love purple will try to do something different as soon as I can :D

  • @prettybeautyqueenify

Yes thats one problem at had at first, I think we all get frustrated with it dries too quick :P but you will get used to it after a while :).

Keeping the monomer in a cold room and doing your nails in a cold room wont allow the acrylic to set as fast, also try applying your beads a little wet.

I love puppies too,I will add your request to the list, but I cant promise to upload soometing right away, since I have a long request list and very little time in my hands :(

    xoxo

  • where did you get your drill at? i got one at walmart but it burns and it does too quick and i don't know if i can keep it plugged in all day

  • @vero4799

I got that one from ebay.

if you get the pink manicure drill from ebay, try to also find a Carbide drill bit, because the sanding bands feel like the burn when filing and they just file very little and takes longer. And the diamond drill bits that come with the drill are pretty much useless

  • @cuteglitternails I love your videos, :) and I think I found a drill just like yours on Amazon, but I was wondering, what size bits does it use? The bits I were looking at came in two different sizes, 1/8" and 3/32", does it matter which ones I buy? Thanks in advance!

  • @Allygal08 only 3/32 will fit on the pink drill....

  • @Wbunny13 Ahh, okay, thank you! :)

  • @bobthq

oh I know is not pefect, still learning, you can actually achive a perfect smile line with just a brush, my nail tech used to do that all the time, some nail tech just use a metal smile line cutter to save time.

I wasnt hiding anything . and yes I'm still trying and wlll keep trying to get better, just taking one step at the time after all is just a hobby.

    Thanks for watching my video.

  • @cuteglitternails I use a metal cutter to get a perfect smile. I can do either the white first or the pink first, but I love doint the pink first, that way the pink doesn't get on the white and it comes out perfect, it's much faster that way too, it looks ugly at first, but after drilling, it's super nice. if not rushing, I can do a full set in 35mn. By the way, the metal cutters are different if u do the white or pink first

  • @bobthq First off her nails look GREAT! And yes you can get a perfect smile line with a brush, and she pretty much has one! And last, I don't see you uploading any videos to show us how to "achieve a perfect smile line"!!!!

  • @vajh122027 I'm not criticizing her way, I'm just telling her there are better and faster ways to do it, after 8 years doing nails full time I know what i'm talking about. I'm not uploading any videos, but if u wanna see me working, just come to my shop, it's in Vegas

  • @bobthq To each their own, if that's how she feels comfortable doing it then so be it. And most people value the time you put into what they want done, quality over quantity.......and after doing nails for 6 years with my salon in New York I know what I'm talking about!

  • @bobthq YEAHH RIGHT LOL

  • @bobthq does everyone always have to be soo negative and pick out every single flaw..like she said nobody is perfect...dont watch videos if your going to look for every little mistake someone makes uggg

  • @bobthq im sure ur not any better.

  • @bobthq the smile line is good enough for me to say this is perfect !!!

  • @bobthq stupid you can do that better?

  • love it, so cute

  • @mehribon95

    thank you

  • beautiful

  • @mehribon95

    thank you

  • myglitter nails does the same thing... hmm..

  • @QuelzGlamSpace13

when it comes to acrylic nails, we all do pretty much the same things... skip a few others

  • pretty!

  • @buttrpecan9

    thank you

  • when you are trying to form the smile line, what did you wet the brush with? just curious?

  • @buttrpecan9

just the monomer, because the acrylic was setting a little too fast, so I was trying to keep it moist so it would take it longer :P

  • @myriafernanda A good acrylic brush, maybe a kolinsky, sable or blend of both, and to start with a #8 Clear acrylic powder is a must monomer a couple of files, like a #80 and a #180, a buffer block, primer nail clipper tips glue top coat white, if you would like to do french tips Pink...not a priority
  • AW They SO CUTE AND lONG. HOW cUTe. WHERE Do U woRK AT?>

  • @gabygrod7

I dont do nails for a living this is just a hobby :)

  • walmart i been there and haven't seen them what aisle.and michaels too

  • @vero4799

oh I just realized a couple of days ago that not every walmart sells them :( like the walmart by my house, they dont even have fabrics, ribbons and little stuff like that :(. Maybe is because there is a Joanns and hobby lobby near by.

at Michaels, they keep them by where they have all the embossing powders, stamps and stuff like that.

  • did you get the glitter from coastal scents.and if yes do you have to mix it with an aqcrylic powder or just by itself

  • @vero4799

I get glitters from walmart, michaels, ebay and a few other places :)

Yes you do have to mix glitter with acrylic powder to be able to use it, or you could apply the acrylic and while is wet apply the glitter on top, I find it easier to mix it :).

  • @vero4799

Never got glitter from Coastal scents, but I want to :)

  • i would never be able to do this

  • @2009supernatural

with a little bit of patience everyone can, I dont do a perfect job yet, but there was a time when I couldnt even pick up a acrylic pearl :P

  • @LayZSexyBitches

    Thank you ♥

  • what product are you using? You are able to mess with it forever!

  • @spiotticd

To be honest I dont remember, I use several brands, not faithful to just one... also when I recorded this video it was very cold, so the acrylic was setting a bit slower than usual. Some of the brands I use, eznails, creative, entity, ibd and a few others.

  • @yvonnars

There more I practice the more the last, I can go for a month without getting a fill and I dont get lifting...nails dont look cute like that :P and it isnt good to go that long, I usually get a fill after 2-3weeks.

Sometimes the quality of the acrylic can be the cause, others bad nail preparation, acrylic application or sealer application.

Pretty soon I will upload a video how I prep my nails :)

  • any one know where i can buy a brush like that ? and no i cnt qet it online cause im 15 and i dnt have a credit card , my mom wouldnt let me qet it online either :(

  • @bubbleishess

  • @cuteglitternails awh thnk you soo muchh i went out today and qot one , lol thats crazy thouqh i wasnt lookinq for it either i was lookinq for a heat pertactent (def spelt that wronqe) lol

  • love ur nails what brand of acrylic do u use?

  • @chiva1713

I use a few brands, ezflow, creative, ibd and entity, I like them all, I just try to buy whatever has the best price for the amount, and sometimes just to test them.
