They took away lots of moves from 99% of the char' just so they don't have to spend time doing something new , nearly all the char' are gone ,60 second rounds which forces button mashers & bashers sort of gameplay , negative stereotype stages( hungry looking blacks worshiping , dirty poor looking Chinese ,fat french women , men are not included) ,few female char' no story 'cause their just regurgitating the story from the start so we must wait for 11 more kof's for a new story.

and the game doesnt feature any of the Kof Bosses for example no Rugal, Krizalid, Igniz, are Zero but still the game is addicting to me

I tried her out at the KOF XII Event, she is really good, her qcf+P is so good against Jumps and has great reach. She looks like she is a good Ash killer since he relies a lot on Fireball zoning.

SNK are trying to make a decent fighting game reboot of the series, not fan service for whiny Mai fans.

Wow, some people can't take a joke, Fan service has always been a staple of SNK, and I have to admit it is refreshing in the sea of games like Soul Calibur 4 (which at least had Hilde) and the DOA games (which most of the female cast are ripoffs of KOF girls) that a fighting game would avoid fan service.

still, Mai is such a mainstay character, it's odd that they would leave her out, they could have given her a new outfit or the RB one.

I really am disappointed by the lack of King though.

I'm not a huge Mai fan, (not since i was 13, but then I grew up) My favorite female character in KOF is King by far however, and the lack of King in the recent KOF games is somewhat irritating, I'd love to see her in the next MI game.
