I'm a bassist in a ska band, and this is a great tool for getting bassists into the ska feel. You hit on all the things I would if I were giving a lesson on it. Also, I'm a Boston guy, so I can dig the Bim Skala Bim reference.
Just to be a jerk, I'll throw in that you called the interval between E and D a half step, but other than that, everything was spot on. Keep it up!
