  • Jesus has come back to us !!!

  • These shoes take some getting used to for sure. I'm a bigger guy, about 6'3 190 and my hips and knees took a pounding during long runs.

  • He is my idea of what "Jesus" looked like.

  • I'm sorry but the most "primal" feeling in life for a male is fcking a hot girl.

  • @stockistev You need to get out more.

  • This hippie is cool as fuck.

  • "Anyone can do 50 or a 100k." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Just picked some up today, feels great so far!

  • I love these shoes! No injuries at all.

  • I highly suggest the merrell trail glove for trail running!

  • Nike needs to make a shoe like the free run 2 but with vibrams soles

  • Nice calves, you skinny-flabby hipster!

  • @sub7design My hate for you burns like Anton's muscles after a 100 mile ultra.

  • ummm, this was supposed to be about the SHOE yes? Really, I mean really! This guy needs to take a humble pill! never mind the bath his feet DESERVE! geese!

  • I envy anyone who has the time to train for the long runs.

  • I thought jesus wore Nike Sandals?

  • What is the name of the song played at the very end of the video??

  • favorited :)

  • super a plus bro guy

  • @MrViolentlyHappy I'm pure American. XD

  • Ultra running - don't try that at home.

  • @MrViolentlyHappy no you don't mention it, moron. You said "i think he has toe nail fungus", toe nail fungus causes them to be green, you lard ass. Yeah, later on you mentioned something about black toe nails, and then cried like a little bitch about how "nasty they are. I think you are pussy. If his nails are black, and you know the nails get black through running, then it isn't nail fungus, fat ass. Go run.

  • @MrViolentlyHappy nail fungus is green moron. If you weren't such a lazy lard you'd know your nails turn like that after a while of running.

  • Anyone have an opinion on NB's Minimus, Merrill's Trail Glove, or Vibram's FiveFingers? I'm looking to buy a new pair or minimalist trail running shoes soon...

  • @FarAwayRunning new balance are the best i have tried them all

  • @FarAwayRunning I use the Merrell Trail Glove and I love them. I have been using them for over a month. In my case it actually help me rebuild my flat feet. I used to have shin splints and knee problems. All that is part of the past.

  • @obfuscated7ruth Thanks for the response. I just bought Brooks' Glycerine 9s for road running, but I'm still doing some research about trail running shoes. Merrell's Trail Glove is definitely in the running though..

  • @FarAwayRunning What are you looking for from your trail running shoe? The Glycerine 9s and the Trail Glove are complete 180 from each other.

  • 3:12

  • OH DEAR GOD HIS FEET

  • Anton Krupicka isn't the Jesus of trail running, Jesus is the Anton Krupicka of religion.

  • He looks like Jesus? Krupicka IS my jesus.

  • pause it at 0:29.

    It's Jesus!

  • LOL everything hurts after 60 - 70 miles....

  • Jesus is back!

  • Nice video. I'm thinking of buying these or Nike Free Runs. Can anyone give me some comparisons?

    @ThatsHimJunior

You're kidding me right. A regular person or extremely unfit person/overweight persom cannot run fifty miles.

  • @emmiexcskier Nike Frees don't have a flat sole. They have the de facto about 10 mm drop. Far from ideal.

  • Krupicka's toes look gnarly

  • bought the shoes because of this video

  • i love this shoe. i got a 4:51 mile last night

  • I'm in LOVE with my New Balance Minimus - Check out my latest training for the San Francisco Marathon 2012 -

  • well anyone can do 50 miles or more, if, they really want to. hey look at anton, the runner, he's living a life full of nature, i bet what he eats is the only products of the nature's itself, what he thinks is the nature. and the outcome is the nature, we are actually designed to do more than that.

  • if running with minimus gives u those toenails, then i don't think i'll buy a pair for me..

  • I can barely do 2 miles? Fucking anybody can run 50 miles -____-

  • haha i love how hes like "well anyone can do a 50 mile"

  • Can you or anybody give suggestions on footwear in cold weather ( snow) trail running keeping with the barefoot running philosophy?

  • Nice shoes. But he's a hippie.

  • 100 miles WTF!, I can't get past 10

  • Terrible toenails.

  • does anton really run in minimus? or he is just wearing them for commercials? .]

  • Dave Davison?

  • I would marry this guy.

  • who knew jesus was a runner.

  • boy got some slave feet

  • You see dat niggas feet????

  • @BMW27KB GET A BRAIN PLZZ

  • Don't F**K with the Jesus

Luv these shoes but to expensive

Maybe Jesus here could work a miracle for us the meek and poor

  • i just watched this again

two weeks ago i was running, hatin life

big heels on my shoes and running on roads

i got these and started running on trails

never had so much fun in my life

  • I like em there the color of the world champions San Francisco Giants.

  • 2:50 Could be in a fucking text book for neanderthals.

  • Is he Jesus? XD

  • Wrestling shoes? Or those slip-ons that surfers wear on the beach? You can get those for 5 dollars.

  • holy crap its Jesus

  • how does he not get shin splints

  • @TheMrdangles16 shin splints are temporary you get use to it after a while

  • @macedmatt false, shin splints can cause serious damage. ANYBODY with shin splints should STOP, rest, warm up before running on an uneven surface, stretching an incredible amount, and icing the shit out of their shins. Muscle fatigue will be painful and you get used to muscle fatigue, but splinting is caused by damage. Whoever told you that splints are 'normal' or temporary deserves to go into renal failure. If you have splints, see a physiotherapist.

  • @dumpywhite oh okay, thanks for correcting me. i must have corrected my form since i do not have them anymore. :)

  • @macedmatt No problem. Sometimes people can mistake shin splints with muscle fatigue pains from working their anterior tibialis, since running on uneven surfaces puts a lot of stress on many different muscles than running on a treadmill. Either way, RICE them. Rest, ice, compression, elevation; will solve most if not all repeat-stress injuries. Also, don't forget to keep your knees bent while you run!

  • I RUN IN THESE EXACT SHOES! And now, I have begun to train for my first marathon ... .THANK YOU NEW BALANCE!

  • i wonder if he smokes weed...

  • I have vibram shoes my friends always make fun of me because they think fila an new balance shoes are better when both companies use vibram souls lol

  • I knew Forest was still running! Cool vid!

  • what about those vibram five fingers toe shoes

  • @cabomane4 minimus use vibram soles, so it's practically the same shoe (apart from the fact that these don't have the toe separators)... still the barefoot experience!

  • @jauipop the soles are much thicker than VFF though, so much less ground feel.

  • @cabomane4 They're just as good for running. Only some people don't like the toe separation. The New Balance Minimus is a NB/Vibram merger.

  • i wanna start running so bad... but it's so boring where i'm at. Maybe if i try the trails, but then i'll only really be able to do it on the weekends. :(

  • @lilrara11804 just do it anywhere man. its an intense rush man

  • the picture at 2:50 reminds me of born to run

  • i always watch this and say im going to start running serious but a day later imlike, i will justin sleep in lol i need discipline.

  • Even if I went at a slow and comfortable pace, 3 hour for every 20 miles, that is still 15 hours of running!

  • wow...i'm happy now..i'm free..

  • I love the Minumas line.however.They got this line because Nike fired some designers and NB had the smarts to pick them up.Just look at the designs of them and do a little research and you'll see that.

  • I bought these shoes and they were not comfortable for me at all. I exchanged them for the Merrell Trail Glove, which I absolutely love.

  • I don't care what anybody says, running barefoot on unnatural surfaces like concrete or asphalt will eventually pound your feet into submission. You need SOME padding the front of the sole to compensate for this.

  • why didnt he use vibrams instead of cutting the sole of his shoe flat

  • @shazzbazz740

Vibrams can feel stiff and restrictive to your weaker toes. I own both Vibrams and the New Balance MInimus and the New Balance Minimus just blows vibrams away. I thought they were incredibly comfortable. I won't even wear my vibrams anymore.

  • @5kjack oh i see

  • @5kjack You mean the Five fingers. These NB's do have Vibram soles. But I do hear what you are saying about the Five Fingers feeling stiff around the toes. I can wear them walking and running with no problem, but if I am driving or just sitting around for more than 15 minutes, my toes began to ache.

  • @shazzbazz740 They are a NB shoe, but with Vibram soles.

  • i have found myself a new hero

  • love them

  • Jesus is back .

He don't walk over the water, he run over the mountain!

  • awsooooooooooooooome

  • I love my Bilka Five Fingers

  • @ydrjtt and i love my KSO's :)

  • @CrazyHermit haha yay :D

  • Jesus??

  • If he grew a little more hair. He could be a wookie.

  • Great trail running shoe by Anton and NB!

  • Aaaah! That's where I went wrong....I just cut the sole and heel off my left shoe only....just like this video.....ever since....I've been running my marathons in a slightly circular motion! This guy is truly inspirational and if he was British he'd deserve a Knighthood! I'll be 60 later this year ( 2 months after Sting ) and just about to run my first ultra marathon......My wife has already checked my life insurance is still valid! Wish me luck!

  • Man I love people like this!

  • I need help people I love to run, I have been running since I was 11 years old, now I am 40 years old. I thank I have restless legs what can I do to get back out there?

Help me please any ideas on what I can do? Or do I have to change my diet.

  • Yesterday I cried after doing 3 miles.

  • Forest Gump?

  • Awesome shoes. I have put a few hundred kilometers on some techy trails in the last couple months. Awesome shoes! No real complaints but much praise. Quite grippy, slippery on wet roots and rocks though, I'm not sure if there is a way around that even with Vibram. Excellent breath-ability. I would love an ingenious design change to help keep debris out without sacrificing comfort :) Unfortunately with a family and a job my daily runs are 7k /12k and they are more than sufficient for this.

  • This is why people run

    /watch?v=jTg7RNtt1wk

  • jesus christ

  • do they fit wide feet

  • *Jesus, not jesus.

  • me run too. oogabooga.

  • i'm sorry, but why his nails are black???

  • @franmarder from so much running.

  • Now they are working on the "perfect" minimalist shoe. I will just run in sandals or some normal flat shoe in the future.

I mean really where's the point in buying a high tech running shoe and then cutting the sole off, you could just buy a normal flat shoe in the first place.

  • A love minimalist shoes!

  • What he says in the beginning is so true. Beautiful.

  • The fuck!?! This fools feet are hurt as hell.

  • @SamiSlamaJamuh haha did you watch this cause i favorited? or did you randomly find this?

  • @KINGkramerFB Hahaha nah i saw it on my news feed that you favorited it.

  • @SamiSlamaJamuh lololol this is hella sick though huh? his toe is all messed up though.

  • @KINGkramerFB Ye i know.

  • If this video makes you angry you should go for a long run.

  • the guy in the back round at 1:31 is like " holy shit i just saw jesus!"

  • @RzXVerRSaTiiLe

He didn't say he was all nature, and original, he said he tries to live as minimal as possible. Plus a bicycle sill isn't enviromentally friendly, it is made out of steel, it is probably produced in a factory, and will turn into trash. If you want to be enviromentally friendly go live in a cave.

  • @spen1591 tru =/

  • Anybody know what kind of backpack he has there at the end?

  • @IBBranch It looks like a Kelty.

  • i love how hes all bout nature and orginal but yet he drives a s10 i believe that puts off emissions and bad for the enviorment

  • @RzXVeRSaTiiLe not every person can afford a brand new environmental friendly vehicle. Money doesn't grow on trees.

  • @shhall16 okay, i believe a "Bicycle" is cheaper than a car u idiot and i believe a "bicycle" is an enviormental friendly vehicle.

  • @RzXVeRSaTiiLe you just ripped into him about having a vehicle that's bad for the environment. I really doubt your first thought was for him to have a bike that is "the" solution for your idea of a healthier environment. Simplistic living is his goal, maybe if you listened to what he said rather than jumping to conclusions because your shallow intellect can't handle the concept of simplicity for solutions.

  • @shhall16 dude u r just an idiot. bicycle good for enviorment. bicycle good for money. bicycle good for exercise. bicycle good for simplicity. bro stop making ths complex u r an idiottttt.

  • Cant agree more. I love trail running, and just running in general. It's just such a free feeling!

  • his feet are grody.

  • Reebock Realflex are way better in a way that they are comfortable, flexible, and have lots of support, and with this ones when I step on a big rock or a log I can feel them and you absorb the shock and the reflex is different I really recommend them

  • @oscarv362370 thanks but no thanks, I believe the reeflex is a pure gimmick. I'm very satisfied with my NB Minimus and my Vibram FF.

  • @oscarv362370 Even just looking at those shoes one time, I can tell you, if you like those better, you're missing the point, and didn't want these in the first place.

  • run forest

  • Awesome primal beast

  • Did he just say anyone can go do a 50 mile or 100K?

  • @db247310 physically, a lot of us could. if you take the mental aspect out of it, running would be a lot easier for most people.

  • @db247310 Lol, I just read 350 million people are so overweight they now have diabetes. No judgement, but not everyone can run 50 miles.

  • @db247310 yes he is a beast he doesnt understand normal people

  • @db247310 no he said "everyone can go do 50 miles or a hundred K"

  • @db247310 oh actually you were right. "Anyone can go do a 50 mile or hundred K" my bad

  • @db247310 Of course, anyone one can, lol

  • i love living in the moment, distilling and stripping things down to their basic elements, and greatly appreciating it all.

  • beautiful video

  • Gf knees, let's roll out the red carpet for tendinitis...

  • Nasty nails. It had to be said!

  • running 50 miles is relatively simple, it's like a very long marathon. Sure you have to be trained , eat and such, but not much can go wrong in only 7-9 hours of racing. In a 100 miler, well..there are no atheists past mile 80. Everyone will be praying for something to help them inch along.

  • @touge242 thank you this gave me a good laugh lol

  • run jesus run..

  • all non runners hate us because our sport is their sports punishment

  • @MrJusthony Exactly what i say. When we screw up our coach makes us play football the next day. Thats saying something cause were all like 5'6. And football guys are generally... bigger...

  • @MrJusthony true dat! =D

  • Here's another "I'm so amazing because I run ultras" story "anyone can run a 50 miler" he says. yeah dude, and anyone can run a 100 miler, or maybe he didn't see Running On the Sun where old men and men without legs ran 135 miles of Badwater.

you have to want to do it. Win a race where everyone is competing and not just trying to get through it like say a an 800 meter. Hell come in the top 20 in Boston and I'll shut my mouth.

  • I'm lovin' these shoes. I've been waiting for 6 months for these. They just came out March 1 and I've just replaced my Newtons with these. Love the barefoot concept (Born to Run book), but don't especially love the look of the five fingers. These feel like I'm running in socks. I just can't say enough about how great these are! Oh, and yes, lots of non-runners are jealous of runners.

  • I find this video inspiring. I hope to be able to run a 100-miler one day.

  • Love this video. Fueling my passion for ultrarunning in my minimus shoes.

  • What is it about these runners that make them feel so seemingly self righteous? There seems to be a lot if narcism in their need to show off their 'battle scars' of running and how much pain they've endured. Or even how 'down to the basics' they are. Yawn..... Not another running story, no one really cares (except your other running buddies).

  • @soccermom4212 How about you try it yourself.

  • @soccermom4212 Tell me about it. Whats all this nonsense about "anyone can run a 50 miler"? Well anyone can run a 100 miler if they train for it as well, but you know what anyone can't do? win an 800 meter sprint in the olympics.

  • Actually a marathon is 26.2 miles but i definately get what you're saying.

  • Effin finally. :)

  • "never giving up." what a stud

  • so this guy can shave his arms and legs but he can't shave his face? and watch at 3:12. acting like he is enjoying nature when a camera is right in his face. what a sell-out.

  • @run2win352 speaking like a true playa-hata!

  • he sounds and looks like he reached nirvana or something.

    i <3 running :D

  • I love my Vibram 5 Fingers, but this shoe looks so awesome! Can't wait to buy these

  • Acupuncturist: "Sorry about that."

    Krupicka: "aaahhh, It's alright."
