Question: How did R2D2 have Lukes Light Saber and how did he know when to eject at the perfect moment for Luke on the Plank?

@HanzSygnal Luke gave R2D2 his lightsaber before the droids entered Jabba's palace. Luke knew that it would likely get confiscated by Jabba's guards if he walked in with it. He also knew that someone would likely get shot if rushed in hacking everyone to pieces.

2) How did Lando get in into Jabba's layer unnoticed? Wouldn't he notice a new/unaffiliated guard wandering the premises?

@HanzSygnal I don't understand your first question. But how did Lando get into Jabba's palace? It was never explained in the movie although Lando had a disguise and there was no information in the movies on whether anyone at Jabba's palace knew who Lando was anyways. Although it may be likely Lando and Solo together did business with Jabba in the past. But it isn't clear if Jabba or anyone else was familiar with Lando. Having said that, Lando is rich and may have bribed some of the guards.

@RAIDERS7009 Actually... if you notice in A New Hope the stormtroopers were all different heights and yes obviously there were clones but when fans started complaining about that (yes it happened) they introduced the reason why they weren't the same height. Kamino cloners made a rebellious batch of clones, empire came in said no thats a bad clone then said aw fuck if they can do it someone else can. Then they started moving awa from cloning and began recruiting. Sorry about the long message...

@tommynicks I was watching this on my Surround Soung stereo about 20 years ago. Imagine the sound that came out of the 100-watt front speakers and the 50-watt surround speakers! The sounds from the speeder bike

scene rattled the walls!
