Mash'Allah brother. There is a hadith in which the Sahaba slept till the very end of Fajr and upon waking, hurriedly to make wudhu and salah. Rasulullah SAW told them not to make haste and to pray Fajr. If you sleep through it, as long as you do not do it on purpose, you may make it up it is called Qada'. Salam. May Allah SWT guide us all.

I know there was a comment somewhere about the clip saying not praying in congregation being a sin. I'm wondering about the credibility of that, so if anyone could post a hadith/quran verse that says it is, it would be appreciated. I know it's greatly encouraged to pray in congregation and you get ton of reward for it.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Praying in congregation is twenty-seven times better than praying alone."
It is compulsary to pray in congregation, but there are different opinions among the scholars if it is compulsary in kuffar countries where you cant hear azan from the mosques. watch this site for more information:
where does it say it is wrong that someone wakes you up for fajr or a clock? what is this guy saying lol..it is important to praj fadjir yes. not every country has adhans! Alhamdulillah everyone should do their best to please Allah!
Dont forget, there is additional punishment in the grave for those who did not get up for fajr: Your head will be smashed open with a rock over and over again for every fajr prayer you missed, because in the dunya your head was too heavy to get up. Also, the guy who said wait for Dohr to pray was wrong, the hadith says, whoever prays fajr in congregation and then waits until the sun has risen, then prays 2 rakahs, Allah will give him the reward of a complete complete complete hajj
SwedenDawah the name of the prayer was Ishraaq. And it consists of 4 rak'ah, made in unites of 2. Duhaa, is the one done before Zawaal time. And Sunnah is to pray 8 all together. Jazakallahu Khair for an excellent excellent video

The only congregational prayer that is compulsary is the jumaa prayer on friday. It is also compulsary to pray in congregation if you can hear the call to prayer when it is given. Incidently, Islamqa is a wahabi site. They are correct on a lot of things, but sometimes they show an obvious lack of judgement in taking a literal interpretation of a hadith. So make sure to get a second opinion, or better yet learn fiqh and make your own judgements.
every muslim male must attend at the mosque every fardh prayer.there are some scholars who say its not an obligation to pray in the mosque if you cant hear the azan.this implies to people who live too far away to hear the azan, those may have an excuse to pray at home. but Im sure you live close a mosque and if they were to make azan loud you probably would have heard it, but now since mosques arent allowed to make azan loud in kuffar countries you use that fatwa as an excuse.
I clearly said, only if you can hear the adhan. And no, you dont make judgements like that. You are making an assumption with that excuse, and it is just for you. You have no right to make that assumption on behalf of other people. The hadith says it is only compulsary if I hear the call to prayer- not if I believe that I probably would hear the call if it was broadcast on speakers.
alright, you and me have different opinions about this matter, lets leave it to the scholars since they know more than you and me. lets do like this; Ill try to go to the mosque every prayer(I dont think I can but Ill try at least ishaa and fadjr) and you dont go to any prayer but salat al-djumuah and on the day of resurrection if you were wrong, youll stand in front of Allaah responsible for your actions, and if I were wrong... nothing happens. I just earned some extra reward!
Mostly true, except for the fact that you just stated it was an obligation for people to show up to compulsary prayers every day. That is a grave sin, the Prophet warned people not to introduce innovation into the religion, or they would be removed from his intercession on the day of judgement. Read Surah Al Kahf again and try to understand its meaning- we arent to dispute over conjecture and technicalities unless Allah has made something clear.
I didnt came up with that from the air you know, you just recently watched a video where a scholar said that it is an obligation to pray in the mosque go and complain to him dont complain to me..
Well be advised the Prophet(saws) said as we move closer to the last hour, religious knowledge would be taken away, and the ignorant would appear knowledgeable, and will lead many astray. I am very very very careful about which "scholars" I listen to. Its always best for you to learn the principles of fiqh, then read the hadiths and derive your own conclusions- rather than risk being led astray.
and the next step? create your own sect in islam? no I wouldnt want to make up my own judgements, if a scholar said something with proof from Quran and/or hadith then why not trust him? you could tell Allah on the judgement day that you trusted that scholar because he brought forth evidence from Allahs own words..
You could, but the Prophet said its an obligation on every Muslim to seek knowledge. We dont have clergy in Islam, the scholars cant do anything other than give advise. How do you know which scholar is right? There are hanafis, wahabis, malikis, shafis, and many more madhabs around, how do you know which scholar to follow? Do you make your decisions at random like that? I prefer to seek as much knowledge as Allah will give me, and make informed decisions.
I told you I dont follow any scholar, I follow what Allah said and what the prophet Muhammad sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam said, so if a scholar says something with proof from quran or hadith then I trust him, or if a scholar says something else with even more proof then I trust him. you dont need to reply to this one Ill just reply back and you reply back and it wont lead anywhere..
Who is your source of law? Islamqa, or Allah and His Messenger? Islamqa represents a wahabbi version of fiqh. I am very conservative in that I try to follow the hadiths as closely as possible, but you need knowledge to interpret the wisdom behind the hadiths. Islamqa gives very literal interpretations, I would be careful in blindly accepting everything that they say.
what wahabi site? you mean sunni site, which actually is a good site then?
I dont blindly follow what they say, yes I do follow what Allah and His messenger says not what islamqa says, but they show proofs from Quran and hadith - which I simply follow!
In my opinion a wahabi is someone who reads everything strictly literally and doesnt research its context. For instance, some hadiths talk about people with pants which go below the ankles being in hell fire. A wahabi will tell you, no matter how good of a Muslim you might be,if your pants are long, you'll be in hell. A more educated Muslim will tell you that hadith was about people who deliberately lengthened their clothes so they could drag them out of arrogance.
come one akhi, can you honestly say, if the Messenger of Allah (saw) was infront of you, and he gave you advice, then you wouldn't take it? If he Messenger (saw) said 'Keep your garments above your ankels. then Who are we do not follow this advice?' I'm not trying to defame you, just asking'
I have a Naive, simple, honest question without a bit of disrespect to scholars of our day or any Fatwa that may have been issued.
Did Muhammad, sallAllaahu aleyhi wa sallam, pray every Fard Salat in congregation?
I read that site, and it seemed to be except one hadith all are in the the lines of, "answer the call", well, I answer the call of Allah! I would love to join jama'at every time, but how's that a FARD? That seems something new, What madhab calls it FARD?
not making fun of this brother i love him very much but he does look like george bush with a beard. Shame on you bush all those billions will never buy you what your look alike here has and that is islam. Something money can never buy and a treasure you can never put value on.

SwedenDawah 4 years ago

MuslimGhost 4 years ago
what wahabi site? you mean sunni site, which actually is a good site then?
I dont blindly follow what they say, yes I do follow what Allah and His messenger says not what islamqa says, but they show proofs from Quran and hadith - which I simply follow!
SwedenDawah 4 years ago
