We pulled over between exit 79 and 81. There was a lot of people already pulled over and hiding under the overpass. We were on our way to florida driving on I95 southbound. That was the scariest thing I've been through with my husband and 2 young children. We pulled over just in time cause huge chunks of hail started coming down with in 10 mins. Crazy I'm telling and I thought being in Miami for hurrican andrew was scary... Oh this beat that 100 times!!! I was shaking for hours after that.
Worst thing to ever do is get under an over pass!! You are better off liying flat on your stomach in a ditch or field, because the wind is not going to hurt you it is the debris.
That was crazy! I missed that by about 15 minutes. I was on my way home from the Florida keys and I had a feeling a tornado touched down with all the debris on 95!
Im going to put this on my facebook , if you dont mind , i live a mile from where it touched down , i wasnt there thank god , keep everyone in your prayers , Thank you ,

sad thing is ppl are still rubber necking @ 10pm 4/17/11 @ all the debris. It crossed 95 between exit 72-73

I saw it form Next to my House the Aftermath was Horrific! 11 dead and a 2 year old girl Was outside when it hit.. she cant be found
