  • bro he drank it thats fucking amazing

  • this material has an even bigger potenial, i know an industry, that material would be a big seller in if it was available, not just oil spills, i like it a lot

  • video starts at 3:00 he drinks it at 6:00

  • Over 30 miles of the Ultra-X-Tex was used by BP during the Gulf Oil Spill and it proved to be successful. There is also floating debris and other non-oil related particles in most water applications. The Ultra-X-Tex is able to filter the water/oil in these applications until it saturates. Certainly, anytype of filter can clog if the application blinds it over too quickly. We have not found an application yet where the Ultra-X-Tex did not work due to blind over. Your comment has vailidity.

  • motor oil is highly refined meaning there are no large particulates, real crude would clog the x-tex, not only that it would take a sheet of this stuff the SIZE of Texas to do any good

  • Is there a way to get the oil out of the fabric so i can use it in my burner?

  • @frankwestphalk - thank you for your comments. We continue to work with BP and other oil companies in trying to get in front of them so that they can have our products ready to go WHEN the next spill happens. It's a long, arduous road however (as you might imagine).

  • Want to know why more innovative products like this aren't being used in situations that call for them?? Read through these comments. These are modern americans voicing their opinions. I think it's safe to say we have problems. Have any of you people ever stopped to realize just how fucking stupid you sound? It's like I'm reading comments from a drunk 16 year old. WAKE UP DUMB ASSES!!!

  • Great product! Just another demonstration that there ARE solutions to almost all of, what are perceived as, our problems. Now if we could just make oil companies like BP use products like this in the event of a spill.... and find a way to stop oil lobbies from controlling our legislature. Oh wait! That CAN happen too.... all you stupid people just have to be smart enough to not put liars in office, and start demanding alternative energy sources and innovative products like this.

  • great idea though :D

  • the water noise made me wanna go pee haha

  • that guy is going to die after drinking that

  • VOTE *RON PAUL* FOR PRESIDENT 2012!!!!! ITS A REVOLUTION!!!!!! HELP SPREAD THE WORD!!! :D

  • ok so lets oil more water up .

  • @payit4ward - BP used it to some extent in the Gulf spill.

@Hmoob - He drinks it at the end of the video

@hudson - We were contacted regarding the Enbridge spill but were not able to act quickly enough and they ended up using up polypropylene absorbents ( I believe). And yes, unlike polypropylene, Ultra-X-Tex can be reused.

  • Amazing demonstration. I can only wonder if Enbridge up here in Michigan has contract with you to use your product. Can your product be reused, or is it a one time application?

  • if you drink it, i would believe you

  • Clever technology. Very impressive display.

Is this being implemented in the BP spill area and if not why not?

  • IT MAKES ME HAVE TOO PEE... LOL!

  • @Naturepheonix - Not sure what you're trying to say but the sample that we used is fairly representative of an actual oil spill on water.

  • @ultratechvideo why wont u guys start doing that on every spill

wait i forgot, the government is giving u guys money for study

this is what i think "u already tested so just use it"

  • lol the "oil" that you spill on your X Trex is much less thick and is almost just brown water. =.=

    3:05

  • Additional information on the long term effects of this oil spill from "The Wonders"

type in the search box "The Wonders BP Oil Spill"

  • hope that material will help.. but the well is still spilling oil and BP is trying to stop it by pushing cement and mud under the water and there is no more elaborates.. (((

  • @ElmirochkaLapochka srry but they officially plugged it July 26, 2010

  • YA WELL YOU DONT NEED NO PRODUCTS JUST BRAINS AND ENERGY I ALREADY DEVELOPED THE ANSWER THE EINSTIEN MAGNETIC VORTEX WITH ENERGY TO PULL OIL TOGETHER AND TURN THE OIL TO LIGHT USING WARP TECHNOLOGY BUT OBAMA LIKE FUCKING UP OUR GULF SO THE GREEN COMPANIES HALIBURTON OWNS GETS RICH YA THATS THE PLAN ONE YEAR. HE REJECTED THE ANSWER ALREADY SO THE GULF IS FUCKED BLAME THE CHANGE

  • @MrCletushowell Nice knowledge. ^^ It's very plausible

  • drink it!!! u said it was clean. come on drink it.

  • @ak7wyf he did lol

  • STOP FUCKING TALKING SO SHOW US!!! SHEESH!

  • this all sounds really great. but in light of the fact that the Obama administration along his globalist banking backers dont WANT to clean the oil spill up (major environmental tragedy is what they need to get their "carbon tax" bills passed), I dont think youll be selling any of these things to the "us" government in the near future

  • @MrHarry46 More Republican lies......!

  • @METALMAN4Wii Ive been called alot of things but NEVER a republican!...LOL.......hey check into how many dollars the rothchilds and the queen of england are making off this scandle

  • Very interesting. I just wonder about the cost. Does it work that good with salt water? Will it work with the crap that BP is spraying to make the oil to 'go away' from the surface of the Gulf? Can saltwater/oil be squeezed 2 or more times out of this 'towel'? And there's the problem that there is so many different grades of oil. Will it work on all/most of them? Oh, and is this guy still alive? I bet he regretted drinking that glass of 'water'.

  • Oh wow!! He drank it! OMG, I didn't think it purified it THAT much! Sheesh! 0.0

  • X-tex is a great; I wish I had found it before I spent a bundle of money on polypropylene adsorbents. ( you guys need to put a disclaimer on showing the drinking of motor oil polluted water after x-tex filtering, not a good idea in my opinion)

  • Great demonstration. I just wonder why this is not as common as a 4x4. Gov regulates and controls everything thats why.

  • yea great fabric buddy buddy but bp doesn't want to fix the spill

  • @alexzracer2008

So sad and so true. People need to get that into their heads. Hundreds of great ideas yet bp is sticking to their boom guns. Its so pathetic.

  • So what BS excuse is BP and our government giving you guys, for not usin g methods that might work better?

  • Who lives in a pinapple under the sea? SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS! Who died in an oil spill because of BP? SPONGEBOB SQUAREPSNTS! )': poor spongebob.. I'm gonna miss the little guy.

  • @99JustMe1

    You're gonna miss a sponge?

  • @rockboy365987826

    Yeah.. does that bother you?

  • @99JustMe1 BP Oil spill isn't funny.

  • Thats good only if it will collect the the Corexit too, this stuff is doing a number on the house plants out on the porch, it also is doing a number on the trees out in the front yard. I live in central Florida 40 miles north of Disney World just to give an idea of the location of visable effects. I know you will hear more about this when it reach all of the drinking water in this state and many others. Im sure the E.P.A. and the F.D.A. will aprove of it. legal stuff COREXIT is safe

  • Somebody pay these guys, this guy in particular should get a raise. I love it!!

  • very clever, i wish it was being used more right now. silly government and population are not making it so !

  • very cool.

though it does kind of look like a old rug or something.

  • wow...BP needs those ASAP
